I ordered this set as I am a Lego collector and love to build Lego sets before you reply and say this is not a Lego set I know that it isn’t and am not stating it is but I thought I’d get it as I love titanic and wanted a challenge . I think it was 100% worth the price if not more !!! The instructions where slightly confusing at first glance but once you got the hang of them they where grate and easy to follow the packing /box was smart black and all things where numberd tho the bags all had to be opened to find the right bits For a 14 year old I think this set would be a fab gift and it’s a lot cheaper than Lego sets with this amount of pieces however prices are very small so wouldn’t recomend for younger children Will be buying more from this company in the future and will be buying this set for friends

Well, where to start? If you're after a challenge, then this is for you!! I consider myself an experienced and capable builder of many things, warhammer figures, lego, models in general, so had a warm, fuzzy feeling going into this. Then the box arrived. Yes, I know it states micro blocks, and yes, it states 1860pcs...but jeez - there's micro and then there's micro. So, back to it. I opened the box ( it had such sights to show me ) and the trepidation factor crept up a notch....bags of micro things. Bags and bags. My wife left me to it with a steadying pat on the shoulder. I gulped. I got a beer from the fridge. I gulped that beer and steadied my nerves. I opened the instructions...looked at the bags and went for it, only to find I needed to open another bag for a few blocks I needed. I started, singing happily to myself. After the first couple of parts, the song had moved to a content low whistle. After a couple more parts, it degenerated to a nervous hum. I looked at the clock. 3 hours had passed and I was no more than a third of the way in. Another beer. Inspiring comments from my Wife, " Looking good! " An hour and a half later, I was halfway through. It was nearing 9pm. Now a section with lots and lots and lots of single pieces. More beer. 10pm - 5 hours in. Sore thumbs. Bedtime. Day 2. With a fresh will, I scoured the remaining instructions, told myself, " You've got this!!" More beer, more sore thumbs. Finally, after a total 8-9 hours, it was done...complete with period correct iceberg. Challenge complete. A great sense of purpose was felt. Small children ran up and down the street cheering my name in admiration of what I had achieved....maybe. All in all, a good build. Take your time, bolster your thumbs, and drink beer...it helps.

So for me, I love the titanic and Lego so when this popped up I was over the moon. However, let me actually write a little guide to help people. I know it says not to mix the bags up but honestly, taking half an hour out of your time to sort them into colour code (see picture) will make it SO much easier when it comes to building it. The instructions sometimes are not very clear and on one instruction you have to start at one end and on another you have to start at the other end otherwise it’ll end up wrong and out of proportions. Over all, so far, it has been really pleasurable to build and certainly takes some time! I’m on day 2 of building and have not yet completed it. I think an avid Lego builder will enjoy this, if there’s is no experience of hardly any then I think some people will struggle.

I bought this for myself. I glued my blue base pieces to a piece of good quality wood. I will be keeping mine as an ornament not a toy. Sorry kids! Good clear instructions. Easy to follow. Built my ship in a weekend. I opened all my bags and separated all the pieces into colours before I started. Have fun building yours.

I gave it 3 stars just for the fact that is tiny little LEGO pieces and it was difficult at some points to put it on but my 11-year old managed to finish it and it looks fantastic but I would go for the bigger LEGO pieces if I bought again but worth the money

Ordered one set and returned it as it was missing pieces. Purchased again and the second set was also missing pieces... the build was fun but I have very sore fingers and I’m disappointed that some bits are missing. Also little though was put into which bags the pieces were put in, so I had to open them all up near the start.

We bought this for our 8 year old, as it was advertised as being suitable for this age range. When we received the item, it was suitable aged 14+!! That aside, we had loads of hours of fun putting this together. Good quality and challenging.......would definitely recommend

My son was so excited by this product, but when it turned up, it’s this micro Lego building blocks, instructions are terribly, the bags of blocks aren’t numbered/coded or organised to correspond with the so called instructions. I’m over half way with it - after finding a YouTube video.
