Everybody should have one of these it's so useful and it's cheaper on Amazon than it is to buy them in the shop. Not much to say about it, it's sharp it works well and it's well made

The Stanley pocket knife is a good choice of cutting blade. The knife is a lot smaller than the usual Stanley knife when folded but when extended to its maximum size it is about the same size as the normal knife. I like the way it folds/slides away it becomes quite safe. The biggest drawback is that it doesn’t have any storage for new/old blades. You have to secure them another way. The other thing I am not keen on is the term ‘pocket knife’, it could lead people into thinking it is good to carry one in the pocket but these are a working tool and should not be considered as something to carry around when socialising. Other than that, I recommend this A++

This is more of a handle with a free blade included. You can replace blades, stanley blades are really good. This fits a good range of them, though I just use the one that came with the handle The handle is all metal, it's weighty in the hand and feels like a real quality object. For the price it's really good, you get two uses from each blade as you can just insert it the other way, changing blades is super easy The mechanism to retract or extend the blade out feels super sturdy, locks in, locks at full extension. Really safe to use, I recommend. You only need to buy this and then probably a replacement blade once a year if you're just cutting through plastic at work like me

To start, I really love this little knife, It cuts really well (the picture shows Velcro, which I sliced through without any issues). I will be using this knife regularly, and am confident it will cut through materials for craft and DIY projects with ease, especially compared to the smaller crafting knives I have used previously. Positives of the product are: - Colid weight, it feels easy to manage without being flimsy. It feels evenly distributed and precision cuts are straightforward thanks to the slight weight in the metal. - The angle and sharpness of the knife both contribute to straightforward cutting, and the blade is thin enough for precision cuts, without being flimsy/easy to break. - The clip attachment at the back makes it easy to hang up out of reach and grab when needed - Protective cover can be put on the blade before it is retracted, so you don’t have to worry about accidents when opening the blade. - The price for the quality was excellent, and availability on Prime meant it arrived exactly when I needed it too. There are a couple of cons, one of which may be due to my smaller hand size: 1. The retractor mechanism is quite stiff and difficult to push in. When you hold the knife to push in the slider, the attachment clip on the back can dig into your hand due to the pressure needed. The slider also sometimes gets stuck 3/4 of the way through, and has to be pushed more to fully produce the knife blade 2. The protective blade cover is great, but re-attaching it can be fiddly. You have to angle it just right, and due to its size there is always a risk of the knife slipping causing injury (the irony here isn’t lost on me!). Overall, this product gets 4 stars from me, as I can live with the two smaller issues without much problem (the slider probably just needs a bit of WD40 and the clip attachment is screwed in, so I imagine it can be removed). I’d recommend it for anyone looking to purchase a sturdy, easy to handle knife.

If you’re considering this item, I would absolutely recommend. I do approve with the other reviews that state it’s pretty stiff at FIRST when you’re trying to push the blade out and then retract. It did feel like it was jammed but I decided to spend around 5 minutes to get some wear under slider and it certainly did improve the performance ALOT. I like the fact it’s not plastic, it’s got weight to it so feels very durable. The blade changing mechanism is quick and easy but again with this, will feel a little stiff but after a few tries you should find it simple just using your thumb. For me, this is certainly an upgrade from what I’ve had in the past. Just keep an eye out for when you do want to buy some replacement blades as Amazon recommended buying as a bundle but after reading the reviews, they were smaller blades than the one that came with this. I’d say it’s worth the money.

For the price, I don't think you could get much better. It's a great beater stanley knife that will take the abuse. Very solid construction and very compact, belt clip is very firm even after several months of use. It's not the most comfortable or ergonomic knife, but it works. If you are looking for something comfortable that will last and is enjoyable to use I would have to recommend the Milwaukee Fastback, but for something cheap and reliable - this is it.

It is so hard to find a normal/classic stanley knife on here so brought this new version. I was pleasantly surprised how solid this is and yet it retracts and becomes very compact. It is a full metal construction so has a good weight despite being small. Feels solid, great for DIY work, even has a belt clip and came with one standard blade pre-installed. Obviously no blade storage given how small it is, the blades are quick and easy to change without needing a screwdriver as you needed with the old stanley knives. It is so good I have engraved my name and address on it as I know a few tradesman whom if they saw this would try to nab it. I love it, very happy, well worth the money.

This bad boy this will be my 3rd one Ive bought in 11 years working in warehousing. Its all metal not a single bit of plastic on it, works great as an impromptu hammer. I only bought my 3rd one as i just lost my second that was still going strong after 5 years. Will buy again and again, but they are getting a bit pricey.

Best box cutter, very sturdy. Can't go wrong with this brand.
