Are these highly caloric ? how often should i give these to a 10kg/20 pound dog (or by how much should i reduce his usual kible portion) ? thank you!

No these are low fat & just pure meat sticks. In all honesty I don't reduce our dogs meals for these but they generally only get one stick a day. I do however use the JR's training treats as well, which are basically the same but are tiny pieces instead of the sticks, my lot can go through a bag in 3 days & their weights are all stable. are they suitable for a 6 month old puppy?

There is nothing on the packaging to say "Do not feed to puppies or suitable for dogs over........" They do break up easily but personally, having had 3 golden retrievers from puppies I would not give these treats to a puppy of 6 months especially if he/she is a small dog. I would wait until 10/12 months of age. That however is a personal choice. Hope this helps.

what is the shelf life?

I have just bought a new batch of kangaroo strips and the best before date is end Sept 2018. My dog loves them!

Can I freeze them and give them to my dog frozen

In theory, I would of thought so, you can freeze jerky and other dehydrated products. You can make your own frozen treats for dogs, we often do in the summer to help cool our lot down, we often fill kongs with liver paste or their own peanut butter and freeze them for our dogs, tons of safe recipes online and providing it's only a small amount it doesn't do any harm. As others have said these fresh meat sticks usually have a good shelf life, but if your a one dog household I could see where the question stems from. I usually don't worry about dates here as we have multiple dogs but the one pack we have left has over a year left if that helps.
