I started buying these milk storage bags in order to freeze any extra milk I expressed once I'd filled up all the storage bottles I had space for in the fridge. The bags are a good quality thick plastic and have a double seal at the top. There is an area at the top to write notes on when it was expressed, the amount of milk etc, this can be written on easily with just a biro. Each bag has a tear off area at the top so that you know the bag is new and hasn't been tampered with. In the time that I fed my first child I filled around 50 of these storage bags and I never had a single one that leaked. I always made sure to store a few of these bags frozen flat together inside a large ziplock bag or box to stop them catching against other stuff in the freezer. The shape of the bag also makes it easy to pour the milk into a bottle without spilling. I would say however that you can't rely on the markings on the side of the bag to accurately fill them with a specific volume of milk. I tend to fill up these bags on the scales to make sure I'm pouring in the correct amount. It is also worth testing your baby to see if he will drink milk that has previously been frozen before committing to buying large quantities of these bags. Defrosted milk can have a soapy smell, so some babies won't touch it. My daughter would drink it but I noticed that she was less keen on it and was more likely not to finish the bottle if I was giving her milk that had been in the freezer. Overall these are an excellent product and I am sticking with these storage bags now that I am breastfeeding my second child.

I've only tried the Lansinoh brand, so I haven't anything to compare them against but based on my use, I think the bags are fantastic! The reasons for such fantastic-ness: 1) The bags include measurements so: a) you can accurately measure out how much you'd like to store and b) you know exactly how much milk you are storing. 2) There is a place for you to record the information that isn't on the part where the milk is stored so there is little worry about accidentally puncturing the bag. 3) The bags are sturdy. I froze quite a few of the bags and they held up well...I didn't have any issues with punctures or leakages. The only advice I would give is to be sure excess air is removed from the bag, rinse and dry the outside of the bag before putting it into the freezer and make sure the bags are stored flat. This seemed to ensure maximum usage of the limited space in the freezer. 4) Defrosting and using the stored milk was quite easy. I gave the produce 4, rather than 5, stars because of some issues I experienced, including: 1) Pouring the pumped breast milk into the bag proved to result in a bit of spillage (which drove me insane). As far as I could see, you cannot pump directly into the bags (at least that's not how it's marketed) and it seems you need three hands to successfully pour the breast milk in. If I could re-design the product, I would change the opening a bit to allow for less spillage (this is also why I suggest rinsing and drying the outside of the bag so there isn't anything on the outside dripping in the freezer). 2) I don't know if this is a design flaw or something else but I was confused how I could pump a certain amount and then after pouring the breast milk into the storage bags and then having a lesser amount. I could understand if there was a little bit less but sometimes the measurement would be off by 10 ml. Odd, no? I also found this was the case when using frozen milk and pouring into the bottle to give the wee one. Again, why the heck would the measurements be so off? To be honest, though, this happened less often than not, so I would continue to use them. Overall, I'm very happy with the Lansinoh breast milk storage bags and would purchase them again without hesitation!

I love the fact that the bags have a seal at the top that has to be torn off before you can open them. Then the zipper is also zipped so you basically have two seals on the unused bag. The material is a soft plastic and easy to work with. It's not stiff so it doesn't make much noise - for those of us pumping at work. The label on the end has a spot to write date, ounces, name & time. I still haven't figured out what the time is for because if you don't pump and use the milk the same day, why does it matter? And if it's supposed to be for what time to feed the baby that's confusing since the date will be a previous date. Maybe I'm not thinking that through correctly. Anyway, I just leave the time spot empty. I do store the milk in the freezer so I lay the bags flat in a food storage container until they completely freeze. Then I stand them up in the freezer and arrange them by date on the bag so I can use the oldest first. I definitely recommend this bag if you are pumping into a bottle then transferring to a bag. If you want to pump straight into the bag I have found that I like the Oxo-Biodegradable Honeysuckle Breast Pump Bag. I have tried Lansinoh, Medela and the Honeysuckle and definitely would NOT recommend the Medela bags.

Llevo 6 meses estrayendome leche en el trabajo, uso un estractor de medela, y del recipiente del extractor lo pasó a las bolsas de Lansinoh, para después congelar. Las bolsas tienen doble cierre de seguridad, y por el corte de La Bolsa es muy cómodo verter la leche en un biberón. Ahí cajas de 25, 50, 100,...

These are the best . I tried Avent before but these are much more flexible and easier to , pour milk into , freeze flat and handle overall.

The box was a bit damaged but the bags inside were sealed and in perfect condition. The picture of the box is different. The one I received doesn't show that you can pump directly on the pump however I use them to store the milk.
