Good quality, came as described

Having started to spend a small fortune on coffee from major coffee outlets, I decided to invest in one of these so I could have my own tasty coffee anytime at a fraction of the price, this will pay for itself within a week or two. I wouldn't drink instant coffee ever and I already have a coffee machine that uses expensive discs however the coffee it produces is tasteless in comparison to the coffee from this little coffee maker. I love it and it is so easy and quick to use. You just put cold water into the bottom part, fill the filter with your choice of ground coffee, screw the top on and put on the heat and within a few minutes you will have a double espresso shot in the top part, drink as an espresso or top up with water or milk depending on how you like your coffee, it doesn't get any easier! This is perfect for making coffee for one person (if you want a double shot), however if you are making for more that one person then I would recommend purchasing the 3+ cup maker. Now I have this I will think twice before handing over my hard earned cash to coffee shops (I'll just buy their own brand ground coffee) as I can make my own tasty coffee quickly and easily at home. As for some people moaning that it isn't built to last a lifetime, well it basically costs the same of 6 cups for the large coffee chains so if I get a year or two out of it I will happily purchase another one to replace it. I'd also recommended purchasing the gas ring reducer, you might want to check if you need this for your hob, I did as the base of the pot wasn't wide enough for my gas ring.

Makes a fantastic coffee. It's not quite espresso, but it's easy to make a great tasting drink either on its own, as a flat white or you can dilute it down for a latte. "2 cups" is basically perfect for one serving. Depending on your grind size, this will take around 14g of ground coffee. One of the best things is that it is built to last and spare components are easy to find and replace. Less waste, and better for the planet than disposable coffee.
