Vanicream Shave Cream, 6 Ounce

Have been trying to find a shaving product that does not leave a burning sensation, or excessive dryness for years. This is great. You don't need much to get a very good shave, no scrapping of skin needed. Would recommend shavers combine with a single safety blade or double blade razor for best results. Will buy again once the current tube is done.

I bought this because my face kept swelling up after using some extra sensitive foams like Nivea and Fusion, it does the job but after I've bought it at about 12 pounds then the send time it had gone up to 15.99 then now it's over 20 pounds so I will use simple soap now as that lavers up just as good, it's a shame the keep putting up the price and I assume they think I will keep buying it but not at the price it is now.

I’m not sure why everyone mentions the bad smell of this product, because I think it is quite neutral. I was trepidatious buying it because of the reviews, although I’m glad I did. I can’t use any products with dye or scents and this is a real godsend.

This shaving cream was completely ineffective. It made my new razor very dull and so was unable to shave properly. It irritated my skin and did not rinse off well. I had to wash it off with soap.

Absolutely stinks and broke me out. Generally just a weird product that I presumed might even be fake due it to smelling so weird. It smells like a savoury food item like a nutty cream or something but off putting, so I just couldn’t use it. I kept trying to see if it would get better because I desperately need something to shave with that doesn’t have any harsh chemicals in, but I kept getting little spots on my mouth and chin each time I used it, as well as those little irritated red spots where the hair follicles are. Disappointing due to the price and how people rave about this brand but it’s yet another product that I have to add to the list of things never to let touch my poor skin ever again…

My husband and I both use this. It leaves our skin soft and smooth. No harsh fragrance.

It’s not fancy. It’s is not like the newest fancy shaving cream and gels. But this is better for sensitive skin. No added scent at all - great for sensitive skin. But the natural smell of the ingredients is a little off putting when you use it. Just shave and rinse and the smell goes away. I use with Gillette’s sensitive razors and follow with La Roche Pose’s cicoblast balm as after shave. My neck skin has never been better.

Vanicream Shave Cream is so good. I have super sensitive skin plus rosacea on my chin. Over the years I have tried almost every electric shaver , straight edge razor ; in addition to almost every OTC ( Over the Counter ) shaving cream ,lotion or dry shaving product on the market. Additionally , I've tried numerous specially formulated /custom made shaving products. Frustratingly , 99.9% did NOT deliver a rosacea flare up free shave. A dermatologist recommended Vanicream about 4-5 years ago. What a difference. I occasionally get flare ups form shaving. Though not like before. Vanicream is not inexpensive, though it is worth the cost.
