Excellent price for Excellent camera
Working well on my rpi 5, was drawn by the very low price for a 8mp camera...cable included not suitable for rpi 5 or zero. It wasn't listed as having one so can't complain , especially considering the price.

Very good, but no focus tool
It's an excellent toy to add to the Pi, value for money, ridiculous modes are possible, like extremely high refresh rates under low resolution. The best picture quality is at 1280x720@25Hz (probably pixels are grouped 2x2, thus reducing noise). Full HD at 60Hz is OK. The camera is fully supported by the hardware accelerated codec. Pi, actually, can run a lightweight web server for live streaming video. One star is dropped for not including a plastic focus adjustment tool in the kit.

Awesome camera in a small form factor
So as I've said in my review for the Pi I recently purchased, I wanted to set up my own wireless IP camera at the front of my house, that I'm able to view live anywhere. The quality of the Pi camera is good during the day, nice clear images and I have it set to record 1080p at 25fps straight onto my home server. Night quality isn't great, but if you crank the ISO up to 800 and the brightness up a bit, it sort of compensates for this a bit if there is some lighting (street lights etc), if not then you won't see a thing - pretty standard for cameras with an IR filter. If you are looking for a true night vision camera, you'd need the NoIR cam with some IR lighting, but as this gives colour variations thoughout the day I decided to go for the standard one instead, and just use a floodlight if needed. Great little camera, works great with the RPI Cam Web interface!

Use this with the Trixie opperating systems and Libcamera.
I transitioned over to the newer Trixie OS on my Raspberry Pi4 and use the libcamera framework, however I couldn't get it to see my generic (cheep) camera. I therefor bought this official camera and everything works fine.

4 Stars because of poor factory fixed focus
I am not a camera expert but I knew that the image quality was horrible when I turned on my Zero 2 W running Motioneye OS. The image was extremely blurry and was basically unusable. After some research I read somewhere that the fixed focus can be changed as the cameras often come with poorly configured focus from the factory. Sure enough by zooming in on my phone I could see some silicon glue holding the lens from rotating. I removed it with a pair of sharp twizers and rotated a a few degrees evert time until the image was as clear as it could get. It made all the difference in the world and the video is now very sharp and I can make out a lot of detail. Happy overall after this fix.

Works well for octoprint.
Was a bit skeptical for the price. Ordered to replace a module 3 I broke being heavy handed. Worked well for intended use of octoprint.

Significant upgrade over previous version, worth it if quality paramount.
Significant pixel acuity improvement over previous model. Low light performance is well reviewed on youtube. There was a very slight glitch on the PCB on the ground connection around the screw hole mounts on one corner, not an issue. The rest of the compatibility with the Pi is more a question for Pi forums; but in short it is far more powerful than using USB cameras if you are willing to understand a few things and put in some time - image processing is very possible as the CPU consumption due to the camera streaming data is near zero.

Funciona correctamente, la calidad de imagen es correcta. Lo he instalado en una raspberry pi zero w sin problemas. La compré después de probar una que no era original y realmente vale la pena el cambio.
