This product has literally changed my working life. I suffer from severe scoliosis, so sitting all day at my desk has taken its toll on my back. For years I have had constant stiffness in my back, but over the last 12 months this turned into constant pain. Having spent a fortune on physical therapy, an osteopath recommended this. Well, by the end of the first day of alternating between sitting and standing my back pain was gone - literally gone. I was a little stiff and I think my legs didn't know what had hit them, but no pain. I literally couldn't believe it. I'm now 2 weeks in and have no pain and no stiffness. I can put my socks on again without dreading the pain it's going to cause. Whilst this might seem like an expensive item, it's been worth every penny to me.In terms of build, there are lots of models to choose from. I have found this fantastic for alternating between sitting and standing. The design means that the computer moves forward when rising, which means I can comfortably have my keyboard on the desk in front of the unit when sitting, but when standing as the unit moves up and forward, it's just in the right position for standing at my desk edge. The keyboard tray moves in and out (it was a bit stuck when I first got it, just needed encouragement).In quality terms, it is very sturdy. I have the largest model of iMac on it. Plus there is room for all my work notepads, my mobile, a glass of water and a cup of tea. What more could one want for a day at work. At first I did wonder how I was going to raise it - it kind of takes a technique to get it doing, but once the gas struts kick in, raising it is fine. The mechanism also works well when lowering the unit, controlling it perfectly.

Compared to other similar products this rates as very good value. It has enabled me to spend large periods of my work day standing at my desk rather than sitting all the time. The size works for me and it is very sturdy. Very good pproduct which I would recommend for anyone with a desk that doesn't want to be seated all day,

I love this product. I have a back problem and sitting can be an issue. I bought this for working at home and its fantastic. I can stand when I want. Moves up and down easily and is also really sturdy when moving. I can fit one screen and laptop on it. And big bonus no assembly required. Only slight down side is it makes the desk height taller when sitting but that's fine, I can work with that.

Have been using it for a week and absolutely love it. Have it on top of a desk and find it very sturdy. Easy to move up and down and as a result have not had any pain down my left handside, which is what I was getting from sitting all day. Can't believe I didn't get one earlier at this price.

This is very solid and easy to use. You can raise and lower it very easily. I am impressed with the quality. Very sturdy and well made. It is rather large. So need a large desk. If you already have a desk and looking at a way of raising your laptop/computer, this is an excellent option.

This does exactly what it says it does, and I'm delighted with it. The only drawback is that it comes with instructions in Chinese only, and the nice pictures only make sense once one has worked out what one actually has to do.After some experimentation, and encouraged by a hint from a reviewer on another site, this is what I find seems to work and explains the pictures in the Instruction leaflet:When the twin-ring mechanism on the sides at the back under the top is in line with the leg it is attached to, it is locked in that position.To raise the desk to standing height: swing (push) the silver ring on the mechanism away from you with your thumbs, outward, on both sides (one side may be stiffer than the other, and it does not matter if you do them one at a time). Then, holding the base steady if it is stiff (which it probably will be when new), PULL the top tray up and towards you. It's a very smooth lift when it starts, and it seems happy to stop in intermediate positions, if not always to lock into them. Align the mechanism with its leg to lock it in place.To lower it again: swing both rings forward and PUSH the top desk back to lower it (just leaning on it doesn't work; it's obviously designed not to lower itself under a static weight).If there is a reviewer who reads Chinese, it would be very helpful to have a translation. It also has settings of some sort on the top ring that must serve a useful purpose - perhaps one has to align them to the same setting on both sides to lock the trays in an intermediate position, but that's just guesswork.The lower tray for keyboard and mouse pulls out and pushes back in the usual way.Once I got the hang of it, I found it easy to use, with lots of working space, very strong, and rather nice-looking.

A good desk, but it does not raise straight up as in the description, and comes out forward. I did not have room to accommodate this and had to put it on a different desk for it to be useful. The moving of desks took the best part of a day - so not as convenient as I had hoped.

Feel like everything is were you would want it to be, good quality, sturdy, nice sliding hydrolics. Bottom draw really useful to put things on, if not using it for a keyboard. Back pain has gone away as it helps build a stronger body core.
