I have owned one of these reflexology mats for over 17 years. I use it consistently every single day in the morning for about 4+5 minutes while I shave and brush teeth. I personally get a lot of relief when I use it. This mat is not for everyone and yes it is likely going to be painful in the beginning. Once you are on it for a couple of minutes your feet will start to relax and if you let gravity do it's thing and don't resist the tension you will sink into the mat and start to enjoy it. Yes, it does smell like gasoline brand new but it does fade. ( This is made in China and for the price it is still a great product.)

It provided absolutely no relief. Just a cheap bumpy small mat. Would never consider buying again. I must add that the “instructions” are in what I presume are Chinese.

Great acupressure for the feet, I use it every morning and at when before I got to sleep. My family use to have one similar to things before but someone threw it out by accident when cleaning.

I noticed there’s a strong chemical like smell to the mat. Other than that, it works pretty good. If this is your first time using one, I would recommend using a towel over it.

When I opened the package it smelled bad. I washed it and let it air dry. Works great.

This thing was really seriously painful to stand on for under a minute. I can't imagine anyone standing on this all day.

Definitely, this acupressure mat is what I need the most. It is painful when I stepped on it. It takes a few minutes to get use it. No regrets to have it.
