Worked great to clean out my ice maker

I've noticed my GE Opal 2.0 pellet machine slowing down with ice production considerably over the year I've owned it. I have always used distilled 5% white vinegar for flush cleaning, but decided to try something that was specifically intended to be used for descaling/cleaning ice makers thinking it might be stronger, and more effective. I added 1/4 of the bottle, and topped off with water. I recirculated the solution through the machine, and kept it in the machine for just about 24 hours. I ran the cleaning recirculation many times over this period to keep moving it around. I also left a washcloth soaked with the solution wrapped around the ice chute overnight. I was hoping to see mineral scale or anything kicking loose during recirculation, but absolutely nothing at all seemed to get flushed out. My machine still seems slower to comletely fill the ice tub, so I can't say this cleaner made any difference. The other minor issue I had was that one of the bottles leaked slightly in the package, and was crusty around and under the cap. Not a whole lot of solution was lost, so I kept it and used it. Hopefully the cleaner wasn't old or bad.

We have a counter top ice machine and it had been getting hard water buildup, and smell funky. We used this and don’t take much and it cleaned it right up and took the smell out. It’s back to making ice in no time. I filled with water and used a quarter bottle, ran two cleaning cycles and dumped filled ran one more dumped. Ran normal ice for one full load dumped and started making normal ice and no taste not build up. The product was very adorable and work’s excellent.

I was to the point of needing a new ice machine! I cleaned my ice maker 2 times with this and for the first time in months it is making clear ice and filling the Bin. I will always keep this around!
