Reliable Backup Camera”
Installed this rear view backup camera on my 2011 Ford Edge and it works great. The image is clear day and night, and it activates perfectly when shifting into reverse. Makes parking much easier and safer. Good quality and easy installation. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Save yourself some money and replace it yourself. Great quality!
The backup camera in our 2014 Edge was showing video upside down. The local Ford dealership quoted us almost $800 for replacement! We decided to go with this one instead, which is definitely more affordable. Took my husband about 30 minutes with help from our son to install new one, after watching a video online. It works perfectly. The image is very clear. Highly recommended!

Not an exact fit for 2011 Lincoln MKX, but you can make it work
2011 Lincoln MKX. The camera fits just fine into the hole after you remove the old camera. There is a plastic bracket that holds the camera in. One end has a Philips head screw in it that you need to remove. Then the other end of the bracket has a hole in it and that fits over a little protrusion. Once you take the bracket loose the camera will come right out. For the 2011 Lincoln MKX, this camera is not an exact replacement. This new camera has the electrical connection sticking out perpendicular to the axis of the camera. As shown in the photo I posted, the original camera electrical connection is parallel to the axis of the camera. Thankfully, I was still able to force the bracket into a new position. For my car, the proper positioning of the camera is the electrical connector pointing directly toward the right side of the car. The original camera had a big o-ring around it. The new one didn't have an o-ring. I took the one off the old camera and put on the new. The camera seems to be working great!

glitchy
2011 Ford Edge Limited original backup camera went bad. Purchased this and install was reasonably easy. Worked for two hours after install and then connection went in and out and picture started turning upside down while car was in reverse.

Good Value
Camera shows more than original. Nice picture. Zoom and all other options do not work but it's good for the price.

Good replacement for OEM part that was failing
This is an initial review after installation. It has only been in the vehicle for a few days with minimal driving. Installation was tedious, but that is due to the amount of parts that have to be removed to access the camera. I saw a review that claimed a 30 minute installation. There is NO WAY. This is 2-3 hours of dismantling and reinstalling the liftgate parts. Overall, this camera seems good. It added dynamic lines that were not on my 2011 Ford Edge. They were static before. My only complaint is this: Initially, I thought the camera was out of alignment. Now I realize that BOTH of the green lines move slightly away from the vehicle (outward) to the end. This is NOT a deal breaker for me. The red and yellow lines are straight. Besides, I mainly use the camera for fine tuning when I back into a parking space. The dynamic lines are cool for reversing, and I had gotten used to dynamic lines in my wife's car. Upon completion of the installation, I kept getting a "liftgate ajar" warning. As long as that warning is active, the rear wiper doesn't work and the interior lights are slower to turn off. I unplugged and reconnected all wiring connectors and the problem was resolved. I've seen varied reviews regarding the picture quality. I have no issue with it. True rating: 4.5*

Works well, crisp picture and good colours. The wider angle compared to factory is helpful, but because it is 360 deg the licence plate is visible at the bottom edge of the screen. Not an issue though. DIY installation videos are available on You Tube from multiple sources. Great price compared to original Ford part.

Works excellent in ford edge 2011. Worth every penny. Even better then the OEM camera.

Fits mounting location perfectly. Electrical connector is improperly positioned. Will work with a little screwing around. Provides a clear image. Had to flip my camera for correct image (was upside-down).
