The first thing I noticed was how well it was packed. The cardboard shipping box was obviously upgraded to a thicker better quality box. Inside the box the printer was packed. In the best bubble wrap I've ever seen. Definitely the printer will arrive in good shape unless it was dropped kicked. I have the USB version and set up was very quick and easy. The included printer cable was too short so I bought a 10 foot cable. I use it on an iMac 27 inch computer. The user guide referred to the website to download the driver and that was easy Peezy as well. There were no glitches or anything downloading, and installing the driver. Everything went smoothly. The prince quality is very good, and the instructions are excellent. While this printer is substantially more expensive, like more than twice as expensive as most of the other similar looking ones, I feel it was money well spent because I won't and didn't have any aggravation I'm using this for printing 3 x 2 labels for parts bins and mostly for UPS and USPS mailing labels. I use the 4 x 6" rolls for the mailing or shipping labels. I haven't had this for very long as it recently arrived, but if overtime, I have any issues I'll update this review. For now, it seems that this is an excellent quality product with a good user manual, and good website for assistance and videos.

I RARELY leave reviews but i had to review this printer! i had a printer already but it was one of the cheaper ones and i could not get it to print from my computer for anything so basically a major connectivity issue and inconvenience so as i was looking for a new printer option to handle my shipping labels i came across this one the arkscan and i noticed in the videos there was a step by step tutorial on how to properly install it on my specific computer!! so i was like ok cool so theres proof it will connect to a chromebook lol. that video is the absolute reason i spent the extra money on this printer and it also looked like a good printer. so i got it, used the video to set it up and im printing directly from computer. so excited it was quick and easy becuase im not tech savy when it comes to installs and setups like that! so happy i made this purcahse, and it looks like it will last for a good while!

This label printer has been a great addition to my workspace. Setup was straightforward on Windows, and once installed, it works smoothly with no constant adjustments. The print quality is sharp and clear, even for barcodes and small text. I use it regularly for shipping, and it has saved me a lot of time compared to printing and taping labels. The size is compact, doesn’t take much desk space, and feels sturdy. If you ship orders often or run a small business from home, this printer is a reliable and efficient choice.

I don't know where to begin, because I am overwhelmed by the customer service I received from Mark. I am not tech savvy at all and have particularly struggled with all kinds of printers my entire life. I am quite convinced that printers hate me. The reason why I chose this printer was that the pain of printing labels on A4 on a regular printer and taping them to boxes was greater than figuring out how this little one works. All the positive reviews about Arkscan customer service gave me the confidence and the push to give it a go. Also, I really like the idea of the label roll being hidden inside. The rest of the deceptively tiny printers required a long tray to hold fanfold labels. I wasn't into that at all. The printer came very well packaged - a great first sign. My MAC doesn't have a USB port and the printer came with a USB to USB-c adapter, thus I was excited to put it to test right out of the box. Arkscan made it so easy to go through the installation and label calibration process, which took about 15 mins. Their videos are super clear with zero ambiguity. If I could do it, anyone could. I have a few additional questions and got in touch with their support. Mark replied very promptly. He sent me links to additional videos that addressed all my questions and concerns. In addition, my power adapter came with a rattling sound and would not power on after the first try printing the labels. After confirming my amazon purchase, Mark shipped me the power adapter replacement, which arrived in just 2 days. The printer is quick and smart, doesn't take much space and I have tries 3 different kinds of labels with great success. I am so so happy and relieved I do not have to buy ink for it. The shipping process is now streamlined and it has helped me to be very productive now that the dreadful shipping label element is off the table. I even was able to figure out how to print 4x6 shipping labels that are non standard format. My favorite purchase in a very long time. Thank you Mark!! Grateful for all reviewers before me. Très satisfait et moins coûteux que la Zebra

Before buying this printer, I tried other printers including "Brother", none of them works for Chitchats which is tricky to work with most inexpensive printers. I guess Chitchats has the same print setting as Stamps.com in US. Chitchats consider Zebra's format (ZPL) as default, this printer is the only inexpensive Zebra alternative I can find on the market. I also tried to print directly from Etsy, no problem at all. Plus, packaging is very neat and manual is very detailed and well explained with videos. Setting is very easy, and regular thermal paper roll works for this printer. (a lot of brand name printers don't accept regular paper roll). Overall a very satisfied purchase experience.
