Great Smart Plugs! Setup is extremely easy and the app is very easy to use. The best thing is integration with Amazon Alexa. We set ours up for our Christmas tree and just say "Alexa, Tree Off," and boom, she shuts the tree off. It's so convenient for things like this. The other we've put on a patio outlet to turn on a light at night when sending the dog to use the bathroom. Again, works perfectly and the kids love them. And it might sound trivial, but I like these better than others available on Amazon because they are so small. You have plenty of room to plug something into the other outlet if you need to, compared to other larger versions. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Five stars for sure. They work great for a few weeks. I believe one of the units I received are defective. It repeatedly goes on and off by itself about every 30 minutes like clock work. I contacted them and without any hesitation they replaced them with no questions asked. Excellent and timely customer service, they stand behind there products. I will definitely purchase more from this seller. These plugs were easy to set up in a snap. Need help setting up with Google? Follow these steps. It was a piece of cake. 1.Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your Google Home device. 2.Open the Google Home app Google Home app. 3.In the top left corner of the Home screen, tap Menu Menu. 4.Verify that the Google Account that is listed is the one linked to Google Home. To switch accounts, click the triangle to the right of the account name. 5.Tap Home control . 6.In the "Devices" tab, at the bottom right tap Add Add. 7.Tap the type of device you want to connect, then follow the steps. When pairing is complete, tap Done.

Purchased these with the intention of adding them to my Google Home setup - as advertised in the item name and description. I was able to get them to connect to the Smart Life app and was able to use my phone to turn them on and off. This is where the successes ended, however. After getting the two plugs set up in the Smart Life app, I went into the Google Home app, went through the usual process of linking smart devices, selected "Smart Life" as the app to link, entered my credentials, and nothing happened. Upon entering my credentials for the Smart Life app and clicking "Authenticate", or something along those lines, the same screen appeared again with different branding, branded as "Tuya Smart". I clicked "Authenticate" there too and I got a white screen. I looked at forums and tried every suggestion I saw but nothing worked. At the end of the day, I will end up spending a little more on a similar solution but the integration will be easier to work with and I won't have to spend hours trying to get past a white screen with no information on it whatsoever. Spend a little extra on something from a name brand you trust for a better chance at something that will work out of the box.

These are great, I use them with my Google Home Mini to power a couple lights in my house. I also use the timer feature to make them automatically turn on for a few hours in the morning and evening. Getting them synced with my Home Mini was fairly self-explanatory, only took a few minutes. Just download the Smart Life app, enter the information, and then add Smart Life to the Google Home Control settings. The only minor annoyance I had was whenever I add a plug or change a name I had to delete Smart Life from the Google settings and then re-add it. It doesn't seem to apply changes automatically unless I am doing something wrong. The other thing I think could be improved is that you can only fit one of these per wall outlet. It would be nice if I could fit 2 of these or still be able to use the other plug. But other than that, it works as advertised. All I have to do is say "Hey Google, turn on the foyer light" and it comes on. It's great for lights that are hard to reach or you want to put on a timer. I don't have any other brands of smart plugs to compare these to, but i'm happy with them and will probably buy a few more of them eventually.

Product is a breeze to install and works like a charm. Have been using it for my holiday lights (in cold & snowy condition on an outdoor socket) and internal lighting as well. The App is very easy to use and sophisticated to schedule/turn on off etc. Couple of things to keep in mind. a. This only works on 2.4ghz wifi (does not work on 5ghz) > This is nothing new or bizarre as most of the other products also support 2.4Ghz only. If you have a router that has smart switching enabled to switch between 2.4ghz to 5ghz automatically, you will need to either disable or separate the 2 SSIDs, otherwise Smart Life switch will not recognize it. b. As advertised, it does not work with Samsung Smart Things, but it does work with Google Home and Alexa. Truly wish Smart Things support is available soon. That's the only disappointing part of this switch. All in all, a great product.
