My husband and I both suffer from neck and shoulder pain. For years, we've been looking for a pillow that would help relieve it. We have many pillows, but most of them don't do anything to help our neck and shoulder pain, which only increases at night. This pillow was recommended to me, and I'm so glad it was. The pillows arrived overnight. They were packaged very well, maybe too well by the manufacturer. They come in a nice, little bag that is like the pillows second skin. It must have taken me almost an hour just to get the pillows out of the bags, but when I did, I was pleasantly surprised. (By the way, my pillows puffed up within minutes of being released from the bag.) This pillow is soft, yet firm enough to offer good support. In the past, the pillows we've tried have been too firm, and we woke with next and shoulder pain that was worse than what we had when we went to bed. With this pillow, we woke pain free. (We are both back sleepers, so I can't attest to how this pillow affects side sleepers.) The pillow seems to be ergonomically perfect, at least for us. The pillows we've had in the past have been too hard and the "high" side was just too high. This is perfect. We love this pillow's shape. In addition to finding this pillow perfect for support and comfort, we also find it very relaxing. I'll admit, I did not like the silky pillowcase at first. I kind of hated it, and intended to put cotton pillowcases over both silky pillowcases. However, I took a nap on the pillow with the original pillowcase on, and I loved it. Yes, the pillowcase is always cool (not cold to me) to the touch, but it doesn't make me feel cold. I don't like the grey color, but that's a quibble. I know I should have washed the pillowcases immediately, but I'm not a germaphobe, so I didn't do it. For those of you wanting a replacement pillowcase and are unable to find one, just use a queen-sized silk pillowcase. That will fit, and I think it will also keep you cool, though I, too, wish we could buy a replacement for the original pillowcase in case it wears out, is ruined, etc. We love this pillow and find it as perfect as can be...so far. We've only had them for a day and a night, but I hope they will hold up. It really made our day to find something we love so much and something that really does give us much higher quality sleep. I think it comes in a travel size, and if so, I'll be buying two of those for us to use when we travel Highly recommended.

This pillow is the perfect balance of squishy and supportive. It’s comfortable without collapsing and supportive without feeling stiff. I sleep better and wake up without neck tension. The pillowcase is a little slippery, but it stays cool all night, which I actually love. Bought this first—and it quickly convinced me to buy more from this brand.

I think I have finally found the one. After many years of searching and at great cost this is the final pillow I am buying. I have a cervical fusion, which makes neck pain unbearable with the wrong pillow. This has stopped the head muscle cramps and pain. I actually get a good night's rest with it. It is cosy, soft and comfortable in any sleep position and provides great support.

I really love this pillow, it’s comfortable, supportive, and feels great to sleep on. My only complaint is that it’s a bit slippery, so it tends to slide around more than I’d like. If it stayed in place better, it would be perfect. Still, overall a really good pillow!

**Updated below original text** Honestly this is the pillow I’ve been looking for after many, many, MANY failed attempts to find one that is comfortable and won’t kill my neck. The only issue (other than the odor which fades pretty quickly) was that there are chunks loose under the removable cover which causes lumps on one side— pictured with my review. Thankfully it’s on the side I don’t currently use so it doesn’t stop me from using it. The thing is, when you pay $100+ for a pillow it doesn’t feel right having to settle for a defect like that right out of the box so I decided to contact the manufacturer to explore options. I followed the Amazon guidelines and sent a message to the manufacturer through their site which boasts a 12 hour response time. It’s now been over 12 days and I haven’t heard a peep in response. This unprofessional level of service was enough for me to knock a star off what should be a five star pillow. My hope is that my experience is a one off that still left me with a sour taste over what should be an easily praised product. ******************************** Three months. That's how long this pillow lasted. THREE MONTHS. After never getting a single reply from their customer service for the physical defects of the pillow (mentioned in the original review) I still used it because it costs too much to discard over something that didn't impact the usability of the thing. For a while it was great! Super comfortable and supportive. I slept like a damn baby for a few months there until suddenly I noticed my head sinking lower and lower towards the mattress. Don't get me wrong, I have an abundant cranium that'll pit any pillow against the forces of gravity but even with my plus-sized skull... three months? Come on. Soon I had a debilitating neck pain from the lack of support. It took a week and a half for my neck to feel normal with the use of prescription anti-inflammatories, alternating heat/ice and an insulting amount of Aspercreme for someone to use when their not quite in their 40s. Throughout that recovery process I also stopped using my Cushion Lab's pillow to ensure more damage couldn't be done. I was very disappointed if not disillusioned that a pillow priced and praised at this level could fail me so quickly. My last attempt to reach out to Cushion Lab didn't yield anything in return, however, those decent few months at least earned them another chance to make it right. I reached out again with a civil message detailing my woes. This plea was not hostile nor accusatory but rather one just asking for help because their product failed me when I really, really needed it. Weeks passed and nothing was said back. Not a single message, call, carrier pigeon, emoji or acknowledgement of any kind. Even a "sorry it's not our fault you have a comically large head" would have me looking at this situation through an entirely different lens. So here we are. I've changed my review to one star and that's truly a shame. The sad thing is I had been looking at some of their other products for my office chair AND recommended the bed pillow to many people. Amazing how an opinion can change so quickly when all I was looking for was ANYTHING back when help was requested. There are other pillow options out there that likely won't make you feel broken or ones that at least have customer support of some kind. Cushion Labs no longer fits either of those categories.

Bin Seitschläfer, 1,82m groß, habe eine Schulterbreite von etwa 45cm, und schlafe auf einer mittelfesten Matratze. Das Kissen ist etwas fester als diverse andere Kissen, entsprechend liegt man relativ stabil, aber es kommt kein angenehmes Wohlgefühl auf. Das grenzt sich wohl ganz normal gegenseitig etwas aus. Einschlafen dauert bei mir entsprechend etwas länger, da ich keine festeren/härteren Kissen mag. Die Nackenstütze ist ganz gut. Der Unterkiefer verschiebt sich minimal um ein paar Millimeter, wie bei den meisten anderen Kissen dieser Art. Das Kissen ist per Verpackung wirklich sehr flach gedrückt, geht aber innerhalb kurzer Zeit auf die volle Größe auf.

Decided to upgrade to this pillow after my chronic neck pain was getting worse with my current pillow. First impression was that it was very dense, heavy pillow but really squishy and as fluffy as a cloud! Very good quality and came with a silky smooth outer cover which I loved. It's been a few weeks sleeping on this pillow and I can say that although it hasn't quite alleviated my chronic neck pains, it hasn't caused them to get worse! It is a super comfy pillow to sleep on and allows me to sleep well on my sides (side sleeper). I do recommend this pillow!

Have only been using this for a couple weeks but so far I love it. My shoulder pain while sleeping has been reduced by a LOT since. I did need to put a thin pillow underneath this just for a little extra height though. Expensive pillow, but so far, worth it

I ordered this pillow and it came rolled up in the box. No problem. It plumped up within a few hours. Once it was full size, I could see that it looked just like the photo. It’s actually quite heavy and dense but when you put your head on it, it feels like a cloud. So smooth and cushy. I absolutely loved it. No neck pain. So I ordered another one, the exact same pillow a few weeks later. For some reason, this one did not plump up. It just sort of sat there, looking at me. After 36 hours, even though the memory foam had risen somewhat, it just did not look like the original pillow. It felt compact under my head, and had no give to it. The first pillow did some off-gassing and after a day, I didn’t notice it much. But the second pillow, oof. So smelly. I didn’t want to return it, but I had no choice. I would have given it 5 stars, except for the disappointing 2nd purchase.
