Pro Standard Grill Mount 3. 0 - The Best Mouth Mount Compatible with GoPro, Insta360 & Garmin Cameras (Black)

I got one of these on the advice of a friend, and was a little put off by the price. But... it's very well made, super light, is very useful. My primary use case is cycling, when I want to be able to pull the camera out for live action shots. It's better than a chest mount as it looks where your head goes, and better than a helmet mount as it's not in the wind. It's surprisingly breathable when using too, though I'm not sure I'd want to ride a hill climb biting it.

Little overpriced, for £36 pounds could include a quick release bolt to attach the camera. But luckily i had a screw that fit and the mount is actually really good. The test of time is what matters, so I’ll be back with an update. After a few weeks use. (Edit) Used the product for a few adventures including a trip go carting. Can say you need strong jaw muscles to keep this device in your mouth for a long period of time.

Wanted to use this to show climb down on a gnarly walk using a rope, which needed 2 hands. All worked well :)

I am a road, gravel and adventure racing cyclist. I’ve had my first mount (v2) for a year and it’s been on a fair few adventures, crashes, knocks and bumps. I noticed cracks on my V2 which I put down to have to really over tighten it to keep insta360 x3’s, go 2 and various GoPros sturdy. This is NOT an issue for the latest version 3. I get a few comments from people who don’t even use action cams saying they wouldn’t use because they it looks daft (you decide if that’s important), think they can’t breath (do you always mouth breath? what about your nose… ) or are afraid of what will happen if they crash (open your mouth, you have bigger problems than losing your action cam)… This is simply the best mounting position for filming on a bike other than POV shoulder strap mounting imho. For high tempo sports, a chest mount is hot. With this mount, it is literally point your head and shoot and it is easy to put away in a cargo pocket or rear jersey pocket.

Pro Standard Grill Mount 3.0 I am really disappointed with this product. As soon as I removed the mount from the connector, it literally fell apart in my hands. This suggests very poor build quality and raises serious concerns about durability and reliability. For a product marketed as “Pro Standard,” I expected something far more robust. Unfortunately, this does not meet my standards at all.

Got it as a present but not used yet. Seems good quality and very light. Fingers crossed I’ll have all my teeth after first use.

As a kayaker I’ve always found the POV from a helmet mount slightly uncomfortable to watch as it sits noticeably too high. The bite mount, however, feels more natural so I decided to get one. There’s no getting around the fact that there’s some minor discomfort but overall I’m happy with my purchase.

Purchased on 13 November 2024 I bought this as everyone and their mother was raving about it. They kept talking about how strong it is. I guess not strong enough. After recently inspecting the mount before use I noticed a crack where the tightening nut lives. Glad I did as I would have the potential of losing the camera if it got any worse.

I film a fair number of DIY videos of cooking, workbench projects, vehicle repairs, etc. This has been a game-changer for getting that first-person point of view. It makes the videos so much more "real" and gives the viewer the sense of being there. So simple to set up to match your bite. I later had a couple of crowns put in and all I had to do was reheat it and re-form it to fit. I had a small problem where a piece of plastic broke out of where the nut is that the mounting screw fits into. I messaged the seller (Ken) and I got a reply literally within minutes. He threw a new one in the mail for me that day and I got it 3 days later. I wish all sellers were that attentive to customer needs. It seemed a bit pricey when I was first looking to buy it, but it has been more than worth it for the results I'm getting. And Ken's quick customer service just added to the value. Highly recommend.

Easy to use mouthpiece to attach the gopro to. Can also be used as a small stand or hung over something. Hope to be using it a lot in the future while bike riding to make video's.
