This flushbolt is high quality and works as expected. Routing out the channel in the door edge is a little tricky, but could probably done with a hammer and chisel. Once installed, works smoothly and looks great.

I found some beautiful French doors for my craft room in my barn. They were purchased second hand minus the hardware. This set was just what I was looking for . . . easy to install, good fit, reasonable price, and looks great!

As others have said, this is a well made flush bolt and the spring works perfectly. Just want to add that I would call the finish more black instead of the typical bronze. I had searched everywhere for a black bolt and since I couldn't find one, I decided to order the bronze finish and make it work, even if I had to paint it. To my surprise, the finish matches my black hinges and knobs just fine. If one holds the knob and flush bolt side by side, in bright sunlight, you may see a slight difference, but since they're not installed close to each other, an exact match wasn't crucial.

Measure first for proper fit for gate.

Be careful, the finish scratches off easily. Otherwise it's a good product.

Great! A door was missing a lock and this worked perfectly and matches our matte black hardware. Screwed it in and called it a day. Squared edge fit fine in the rounded edge that was actually already in the door. Just sat on top of it and it worked fine.

I started replacing brass components in my 15 year old house and was worried I wouldn’t be able to find the latches I needed for the two double doors. Theses were the exact replacements that fit into the existing cut outs, I couldn’t believe it! They are sturdy and well made.
