Perfect for Pattern Testing
I absolutely love using this muslin fabric for sewing, and it’s become an essential part of my process! I use it to cut out patterns and create first versions of my dresses before working with my real fabric, and it’s been a game changer for ensuring my designs come out just right. Here’s why I’m giving it a full 5 stars: Ideal for Pattern Testing Muslin is the perfect material for testing out patterns. It's inexpensive, so I don’t feel guilty about using it for trial runs. I can easily cut out patterns and sew up the first versions of my dresses without worrying about wasting my more expensive fabrics. It gives me a chance to make adjustments, check the fit, and see how everything comes together before committing to my final fabric. This has saved me so much time and frustration in my sewing projects. Lightweight and Easy to Work With The muslin is lightweight, but still durable enough to handle multiple fittings. It’s smooth and easy to sew, which is especially important when making adjustments to a pattern. I love how it holds up through pinning, cutting, and trying on the first version without any issues. It doesn't slip around or stretch out of shape, which makes it much easier to work with compared to other test fabrics I’ve tried in the past. Great for Fitting and Adjustments Because muslin is relatively plain and neutral, I can easily see any fit issues or alterations that need to be made. It’s also easy to mark on, which is a huge plus when I need to make changes before moving on to the final fabric. Whether I’m tweaking a hem, sleeve length, or fit around the waist, muslin allows me to clearly visualize the adjustments I need to make. Affordable and Versatile One of the best things about muslin is how affordable it is compared to other fabrics. I can buy it in bulk, knowing that I’m not spending too much money on something that’s just a test version. Despite being inexpensive, it still feels quality enough to give me an accurate sense of how the final garment will fit and look. Final Thoughts This muslin fabric has made my sewing projects so much easier and stress-free. It’s the perfect tool for testing patterns and ensuring everything fits just right before using my final fabric. If you’re into sewing and want to create high-quality pieces without risking your real fabric, I highly recommend investing in muslin for pattern testing. It’s affordable, easy to use, and has made a huge difference in my sewing process. Definitely 5 stars!

Great price, Great for Mock-Ups, A little thick
One continuous cut of fabric, good quality great price, great for mock-ups. it is a thicker fabric than the muslin I usually buy which made it slightly more difficult for toile mock ups so check the gsm if your wanting something specifically closer to quilting cotton this is a bit thicker and stiffer. I washed and dried it hoping it would soften it up but it just made it super wrinkled and it is a bit laborious to iron, I ended up just soaking it with a spray bottle and then ironing it which seemed to work. But for its intended purpose of Mock-ups the price cant be beat

Cotton muslin, med. weight for textile art
This is actually muslin. No synthetic fibers. Great for DIY projects like Cyanotype, Rit dye, embroidery and pattern making. I’m a textile artist and consider this a mainstay foundational element to many of my creations. Wash and air dry for added absorption of dyes.
