✓ OUR PROCESS Our shelves were designed and manufactured in the USA. Do not mistake these for our competitors which are made from MDF and cardboard. You are paying for American craftsmanship and creating jobs with our products. Our process in a nutshell: Miter saw: Cut Pine Lumber down to length of 23 7/8" Drill Press: Measure and Drill 5" Depth holes for mounting brackets. Holes measure 16" apart. Orbital Sander: Sand wood down with 220grit sandpaper Brush and Rag: Stain wood by hand using an oil based product, Let air dry in a dust free room for 24 hours. Brush: Seal product with Polycrylic semi-gloss clear coat, Let dry for 2 hours By Hand: Sand Piece down by hand with 220 grit Spray: Seal product once more with Polycrylic and let dry overnight. Package the product with protective wrap and ship to our fullfillment centers. Total time is 3 days from start to finish. ✓ MOUNTING DIRECTIONS Step 1: Mark the studs on your wall Step 2: Mount the Silver brackets into the wall using the supplied drywall toggle bolts. If mounting to stud then please use 2 1/2" Drywall Screw. Step 3: Use a level to make sure the mounting brackets are straight, adjust the brackets to compensate for slight variations in the wood. (We are using real wood here). Mounting one bracket first, and use a level to finish mounting the 2nd bracket. Step 4: Slide shelf onto mounting brackets and test for strength.
