I have been skating for several years, and have recently started hitting my local skate park. I started with an inexpensive, adjustable set of fitness skates, but my newly expanded skill set quickly shredded the wheels. So I ordered these skates to replace them. I hit the ramps for the first time yesterday, and I am never going back to cheap skates again! The ABEC-9 bearings and 85A rated wheels make for a buttery smooth ride that is also much quieter than I am used to. For comparison, I would have to get going quite fast to ride up a 6 ft. quarter pipe on my old skates. On these, I can roll up the same 6 ft quarter pipe with maybe 75% of the effort required by my old pair of skates. The quality of the bearings and wheels is the best I have ever used. They look sleek and very cool as well. I wear an American men's size 9.5 shoe, and ordered the size 10. When you first try them on, the size may feel snug, but I believe this is due to the thick, new padding needing to get broken in by use. I wouldn't recommend these for beginners as a first pair of blades, just as I would not recommend a sports car for a new driver's first car. They do not come with a brake installed, because they are built for aggressive skating. Brakes interfere with vert ramps, as well as leg-over-leg turns. The same caliber of skater that will appreciate the lack of a brake will also appreciate the tightly spaced wheels, which allow for better agility. All in all, a truly superb product... IF you know what you are doing and what you are getting them for. Make no mistake - these are blades for people who have already worn out their inexpensive beginner skates. They are hungry for vert ramps, and if you purchase these just for the family roller rink, then you likely won't be able to appreciate the thought and workmanship that went into making them.

Highly recommended, I had bought some for 60 dollars that never convinced me... since I saw them I liked them. They are very comfortable inside and the bearing is of very high quality. I saw someone who said that they felt cheap in a bad review but it is totally a lie. It has very good rubber and good grip.

Well padded ankle and general overall comfort make a good initial impression of this skate. Though I've only put 4 or 5 urban Las Vegas miles the ride is smooth and the quality seems more than fair.

These skates were a little hard to get on at first. It took two of us to get the shoe wide enough to slip the foot into. After several try we finally were able to get the opening wide enough to sli[ the foot into the skate. After that the skates fit perfectly and my granddaughter loves them.
