Windslayer Cover Muffler Windproof Case Side Door fo Hero 13/12/11/10/9 Black

I recently started livestreaming by e-bike rides and the wind noise on my GoPro Hero 11 was immediately a pain point. I considered getting a wireless lavalier mic with a fuzzy wind thingy on it (technical term) and then I saw this and figured for $10 bucks it was worth a try. The foam itself is pretty durable feeling but still sort of cheap, but that was expected. It didn't tear to pieces or anything when fitting it on the camera... but I am concerned about longevity. The addition of a replacement battery door with the pop-up USB-C port for direct charging was actually a game changer, but if I need to hot-swap the entire battery it is a chore as I have to peel the foam outside away now. As to the wind proofing this worked like a charm. My voice is noticeably more muffled but the fact the wind is 98% cut out makes hearing me that much better over all. I also feel like this cover will offer a bit of extra protection from the camera which is nice. It's painless to install and if you have modifications to the GoPro it's easy to trim foam away with scissors. All in all get this for wind noise before investing in an expensive and awkward wireless mic system.

Used this cover on my 6th month hike across the US. Held up really well! Had my go pro on the outside of my pack. Never felt like it picked up debris. Did well for cutting wind sound and making audio better. Overall would purchase again

It works nicely, it requires a very specific tipe of usb-c cable, because the regular one the tip is not long enough to pass through and charge it. Unless you have that cable, this will not be that useful.

Works great for reducing wind noise! using for 40 days on motorcycling and getting good results. And it's still hanging there, but first signs of tearing... You have to be very careful when putting it on and off, as it is fragile... But I wouldn't take any stars because of that, considering the price.

Heads up! The battery door definitely lets saltwater in and will fry your gopro. Muffler works great tho

It is what I was looking for, light and convenient

Contains so much heat that it won’t let my GoPro Hero 12 run for recording my Autocross races. Took it back off and the GoPro worked for subsequent races. I guess I’ll just have to deal with the wind noise.
