A five foot fan blade span really moves the air efficiently with no noise. Installation was a breeze but already had a support built into the ceiling that could support the weight of the fan. I am pretty handy with projects and took me about 30 minutes to install. I like it so much that I will buy a second one for the other bedroom. Love the looks and performance!

I had been considering this fan for its architectural design and air moving abilities for our location which has 15' ceilings. I ordered a used one which saved significantly from the 'new' price. Bearing in mind that Amazon pricing on some items can fluctuate week to week I kept watch on it until seeing this offer. The installation involved my running 1/2" conduit (painted flat black) approx. 15' to the fan location as it was not previously wired and there was no way to 'pull' a hidden electrical feed there. After a significant amount of work on this (I was a contractor for 30 years so really a no brainer, but working at that height, pipe bends and drilling over exposed steel beams made it fun) i installed the actual fan in about 1 hour. excited to see it running I hit the remote and...nothing! I tried every combination of resetting the remote, checking all connections (btw the fan came with leads only long enough for a 12" down-rod so I had to solder on extensions for my 4' down-rod) dip switch settings, etc. and nothing. Extremely bummed I contacted the seller and Amazon. Let me offer my compliments to both. The sent along a new remote receiver at no charge and actually credited me an additional amount on my purchase. After installing the new receiver...whoosh! The fan is beautiful, moves tons of air and looks great in our modern home. I am thankful for the great customer service offered that day and recommend the fan without reservations despite my little ordeal. I hope this helps anyone considering this purchase. d

There are 6 speeds. It has a pretty strong wind at speed 6 which is the fastest, yet it is still so quiet which is what I love this fan about, plus it looks stylish. The blades are made of wood but they are super light which is great. The blades are reversible meaning it can run from clockwise to counterclockwise. I haven't really noticed what the reverse option really does. This fan is expensive than many other brands and models, but overall I like it because it looks stylish, very functional, and most importantly, strong winds while being quiet.

I have two of these ceiling fans - one in koa wood (2-1/2 years old) and the other in walnut (a recent purchase). Both are beautiful and silent, and they move air very efficiently, which noticeably reduces my heating and air conditioning costs and make my outdoor patio more useable in both hot and cool weather. The older one is used outdoors, in a covered patio that gets quite a lot of dust and wind, and it still works perfectly. I have two other ceiling fans that are a more traditional style and were considerably less expensive; however, I plan to replace them because these are so much more attractive and adjustable. If style and ease of adjustability is important to you, and you can afford the extra expense, these are worth it.

I love this fan. I can't tell you how long we looked for a fan that we liked the looks of AND that hugged the ceiling. Most people I know WANT a ceiling hugging fan , but can't find them because they are rare! One that looks nice. Even though it says 6 inch downrod, we were able to cut ours down to 3 inches and it works just fine. (not quite ceiling hugging, but better than most). It is super quiet, moves the air, and is so beautiful to look at I feel like it is a piece of art or a piece of nice furniture. That is why I can justify paying so much for a fan.. There are pricier ones, lol. It is so worth it.

I really like the design of that fan, and it can move a lot of air at full speed. That said, I can see a couple of possible improvements: 1. The lamination on the blade has joins and grain mismatch between different sheet of wood. It would be much nicer to have a single sheet per blade and no join. Or at least try to have continuous grain. 2. The fan can only be operated with the remote control. That is sure way to insure a steady order for spare remotes when owner loose them. An alternative speed direction switch on the base would be great.

This is a high quality fan that is attractive and puts out a lot of air. The electrician who installed reiterated that it’s a great fan - and easy to install!

I love this fan, once installed it is magnificent in appearance. However, I have never been able to balance my 70' fan after days of trial and error with balancing kits. This is a $900 fan, I don't know what the problem is with it as the installers said balance has been on common issue reported. I was not going to pay them to take it down, and pay again to put up the fan by returning it. The company was very nice but unable to give me any advice other then to use 2 balance kits as other buyers have done to correct the problem. I have very inexpensive builder grade fans all over my home and have never experienced one problem with installation and balance problems. And, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the cross-bar in the ceiling. Installation was done perfectly. I was sent 3 new blades to replace the prior 3 in hopes that this would solve the problem. Blades can be removed without taking the fan down. Nope, it still wobbles. Climbing up and down on a 12 foot ladder in hopes of finding the perfect combination of slide clip balancers has proved exhausting and ineffective. Very, very disappointed.

El diseño, los materiales, el funcionamiento, todo me gust de este ventilador. Tiene instalado 18 meses con un uso de al menos 8 horas todos los días y es magnífico. Vale la pena hasta el último centavo.

Quiet with good air movement. Wife wanted one years ago and I dragged my feet. She was right, works great. I can set the AC a little higher at night so probably will save a bit on electricity.

We purchased two of these fans in 2022. They run all summer and perform perfectly. They are also operated in the winter to push warm air down from the vaulted ceiling. Wish we had installed one more in the loft!

Once you have one of these fans you'll never buy another. The Mavericks move all the area in any room even on their lowest settings. Have six (6) of them now and would never consider buying anything else. They are just amazing!
