Buy Hiking Backpack, 65L+5L Backpacking Bag for Trekking Camping Travel Outdoor Mountaineering Climbing Green: Everything Else - desertcart.com ✓ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases Review: Overall, very happy with this pack - I do a fair amount of backpacking and was looking for a lighter pack, as I was trying to move in the direction of more ultra-light equipment and less weight to carry. I figured for the price, I'd give this one a try (I see they've dropped the price by $8 since I bought mine, so it's really a steal if you consider similar- weight Osprey pack is $250). After 2 trips, one 5-day, one 3-day, I am pretty happy with this purchase. Although I'd argue that it's not really a 65+5 liter capacity, but somewhat smaller, it held everything I needed without having to carry anything on the outside. Granted, my sleeping bag is pretty compact. My colder-weather bag would need to be strapped to the outside, but the bottom straps will accommodate that. I was carrying less than 30# total, and it rode comfortably, and includes several adjustments that you would expect in a more expensive pack. I think I'm going to reconfigure the waist strap, as I found the webbing slipped over time and I had to keep tightening it. I'm going to change it so it tightens by pulling forward instead of back, and I think this may correct the problem. I liked the pockets, which made it easy to organize all my gear so I could find it. The pocket on the back was perfect for keeping trail snacks handy. The only issue I had with it was that one of the zipper pulls on the sleeping bag compartment slid off the end of the zipper, as the zipper was not tacked closed. I was able to repair this, and I tacked the zipper closed so it won't happen again. One star off for capacity not as represented, but otherwise I'm quite happy with this purchase, and will be using it for many trips to come.
