We purchased these for my nieces, aged 7 and 5, as a gift after their dance recital. We were initially concerned that the necklaces might be too big or the chains too long for children, but they ended up being perfect. The charm is small and appears well-made. The multicolored stones are very light, pastel colors. I though that the twisted design of the chain was especially pretty, and at 17" it will be long enough to wear when they get older if they want to, with or without the ballet slipper charm. They were packed in a pretty little bag for gifting. Overall, this was a good purchase.

As mentioned in other reviews, the ballet slippers pendant is tiny (about 1/2”) and the necklace is dainty, but it is perfect for my almost 4 year old granddaughter. This was carefully packaged - pendant was inside a small baggie and the necklace in a separate baggie and both were inside the box in the photo. Love that this is sterling silver, so hopefully this will last her a long time.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter after her first dance recital at age 4. This necklace felt like a good balance between a sweet sentimental gift and something that could be easily replaced if lost. It's very pretty, and she was absolutely thrilled. It's been about a year, and the charm looks basically new. It's a lovely shade of pink, very sparkly, and a nice size (large enough to tell what it is, but not cartoonish). She wears it often, but we do it off to swim, shower, etc. The chain is very delicate. It broke about 6 months after we bought the necklace. I don't think my daughter was especially rough with it, but she does have very long hair. I think she accidentally tugged the chain too hard while moving her hair. I replaced the chain with a different style that seemed less delicate.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I just liked it best. It was very pretty with the pink stones.
