Best earbuds you could ever pick! Sound, Battery, Comfort, & More!
I got the Soundcore Anker Life Dot 2 headphones 4 years back and they were so comfortable, paired with stellar battery length and sound quality. Somehow, this set manages to sound even better than the original pair. I love the app that they've built to better support and customize your audio listening quality/note emphasis, to allow for you to custom edit the quick tap & hold settings for easy functionality without constantly toying with your connected device. They also still let you pick the sizing of the earbuds that fit within your ear so you have a perfect fit and comfort theere. These guys cost a bit of money, but they're more than worth their price. As someone who adores high quality audio, I can't recommend this brand more. You're gonna love them.

Great sound quality and seems durable.
Well packed item. Inside the box there are multiple size in ear cups. As soon as I opened the bud case with in 2 seconds they wanted to pair with my phone and my phone was sitting on my table next to me. Plus the message came up to pair with the anker app for equalizer. Right out of box they were already charged and as far as I am concerned good quality sound. The noise canceling works very well. Only thing for me is I use the large ear cups in both ears and my left one seems to get a little sore. I tried the medium one but it didnt seem to fit as well. I still use the large and I will see how it breaks in as I use it. I still give them 5 stats for over all use and quality sound. The case is small so easy to pocket on the go. Also the battery lasted for a long time. First time I started using them at least 4 to 5 hrs a day it lasted for a week. I chose the black. Great value for the money. I dont use the equalizer due to sound to me is great just out of box. I've had them now for 2 weeks and love them. I chose them cause I have a pair of Anker over ear head phones and they also have quality sound. Anker products for the money are good quality products and have great sound. I listen to rock and outlaw type country and classic rock. I am 69 yrs old and love listening to music.

Good earbuds but sound quality leaves some to be desired
I've been using the same TOZO earbuds for 2 years and decided to buy these earbuds for these reasons: 1) longer battery life, 2) more options for sound modes, and 3) better connection with my iPhone. To give a little background, I primarily wear earbuds while working, commuting on the bus, and for personal use at home. But unfortunately, I decided to return the Soundcore earbuds for a few reasons. Continue reading below for my reasons why. Likes: 1) I really like the sound quality options as well as the ability to adjust the sound quality, using the Soundcore app which I think is a definite must if you want more control over the sound quality. I've really enjoyed switching between the ANC & transparency modes as they are surprising modes I never realized I wanted. With TOZO, I could only wear 1 earbud when using them at work so I can still hear my surroundings. But with the Soundcore earbuds on transparency mode, I can wear both earbuds and still hear the ongoings around the office near my desk. 2) The battery life is also a godsend in both the earbuds and the charging case. I don't think I fully realized when purchasing, how fast the earbuds would charge when in the case. At one point, I used the earbuds for 8 hours between ANC & transparency mode, charged the earbuds in the charging case for 15 minutes when I was on my break, and when I went to use them again afterward the earbuds were already 80-100% charged as according to my iPhone. Considering how often I use the earbuds after 8-10 hrs per day and 4-5 days of use from a full charge, the battery life is still 2 lights remaining which according to the Soundcore manual should be about 70-50% battery life remaining (I think that's the right range). 3) After using the TOZO earbuds, I've grown to appreciate wireless charging which the Soundcore earbuds do so that's a plus. Much easier for me as I'm still unused to using a USB-C cable which the Soundcore earbuds do come with, but I just have not liked charging my earbuds with a cord as much. Dislikes: 1) As much as I love the sound modes, I desperately need as much noise canceling as possible when using earbuds at home/commuting. So when I'm at home/commuting, I more often use the ANC mode on these earbuds. The audio setting does perform noise canceling well but these fall below the bar when I compare these earbuds to my TOZO earbuds which block out more noise than the Soundcore earbuds. I can cancel out more noise on the Soundcore earbuds by raising the volume under ANC mode. But as much as I would like to continue that method on the Soundcore earbuds, I value retaining my hearing as much as I can. 2) Connection-wise for the Soundcore earbuds with my iPhone was good to a point. Connecting to my iPhone was no issue, it was some situations in retaining that connection when going about my day is the issue. I've found the audio connection for the Soundcore earbuds cuts off when I'm on the bus/car (don't worry I'm not the one who's driving). When the vehicle (bus/car) drives over a very bumpy road/highway, the audio cuts off in response until the vehicle is back onto a smoother road/highway. I've also noticed this connection issue when I'm walking around my apartment complex, specifically when I walk under and through a small hallway to enter between complex buildings (my apartment complex is primarily outdoors when navigating between complex buildings to access apartment units). I had this issue recently with my TOZO earbuds so I'm sad I'm already having this issue with the Soundcore earbuds right out of the box. Mind you, the Soundcore earbuds I received may be a previously returned set that was already opened. 3) Receiving the Soundcore earbuds already opened dampened my experience with these earbuds early on. But I knew this was a familiar tactic that Amazon often does if the condition of the item is still almost good as new. So I tried to keep my fingers crossed that using the earbuds changed my mind since the earbuds still looked unused and had no residue of dirt on the earbuds themselves. I still cleaned the earbuds myself just in case, especially nowadays with the pandemic. Overall: The fact that qualities I liked with the TOZO earbuds were missing out for me when using the Soundcore earbuds (sound quality) and I started having the same issues with the Soundcore earbuds as I currently have with my TOZO earbuds (connection issue), this was big negative for me since I still wanted to retain that quality as this was a $99 purchase. But I still rated these earbuds 4 stars because I really liked the battery life which exceeded my expectations and I really liked the type of sound quality modes in tandem with the Soundcore app as it really helped me customize my experience day to day depending on what activity I'm doing (commuting or at work).

If you want great quality and affordable earbuds this is what you should get.
Amazing quality with so many customizations for sound quality, touch options and noise cancellation. very comfortable and fit perfectly in your ear if you have the right rubber size. the amount of times I've forgot they are in my ear because its literally as i they aren't there. Great quality for the price, do recommend, only thing is you're limited to the amount of touch options you can have at one time but you can easily change it to your likings in the app.

So far so good
I finally ended up with these earbuds after a nightmare journey having traded in my perfectly great Samsung (first series) earbuds for the new Samsung buds pro 2, which it turned out I am totally allergic to and couldn't even wear for 10 minutes without getting a severe reaction, shame on you Samsung, they know they have a big problem and refused to return and refund me the buds. So here the journey starts, and shout out to Best Buy who took back and refunded every pair I bought! As I mostly listen to audio books in the night, and I'm a side/front sleeper, I needed them to be small and comfortable to lie on, as I'd just wasted over $200 on the Samsung buds, I thought I'd try cheaper ones so bought JBL 235NC earbuds, it was my first time wearing an earbud similar to Apple and for me I didn't like it, I also found the buds sound to be a bit tinny. So they went back and Idid some research and upped my spend and bought the Sony WF1000XM5, these had excellent reviews but the $300 purchase price hurt and they were big in my ears, definitely not comfortable to lay on and for me not worth the price, they went back, next I tried the beats studio buds +, these were ok, they are pretty small but have a raised piece that you hold to fit in your ear and I really struggled every time to put them in my ear, it was also tricky to get them in and out of the case, the sound was good and as much as I didn't really like them, I decided to keep them, until one fell out on the airplane and I couldn't find it, so I was back in the earbud market again and this whole time kicking myself for trading in my old Samsung earbuds, which were perfectly good. I will say that I didn't get a reaction to any of the new earbuds I tried - except the new samsung pro 2 - and now I'm running out of options, my husband said to try the Anker Soundcore A40s as he heard they were good and similar to the Samsung ones so for $50, I decided to give them a try, I read the reviews and supposedly they can be hit and miss, but if you get a bad one send it back and they will send a new pair. I bought a white pair and my first impression was they are good quality, the case seems sturdy and the buds look expensive. They look very similar to the Samsung earbuds in size, shape and appearance. I downloaded the app, and they paired straight away, they supplied a wide range of sizes of ear tips for fit and a huge choice of sound options, I did the ear test and went with their HearID sound option but there are lots of default choices as well as custom so you can adjust the sound to suit you. There is noise cancellation/Normal/Transparency mode options and I have to say it could be me but I didn't really notice a difference, the Samsung and Sony both have excellent noise cancelling if that is important, it's not really a problem for me. So far I'm pretty pleased, for the price point and quality I would highly recommend them, also for those of you who are struggling with reactions to their earbuds, so far these have been great

Yes, they fall out of your ear
So I can put these in my ear and shake my head around and they stay put and feel secure. Then, randomly, later on I can be just standing and talking to someone, with little to no head movement and an earpiece can just POP out striking the concrete or tile and ricochet under the sink into the floor drain, for example. The ambient hearing setting is pretty cool, it almost works. I mean it DOES work, but it's not the same as having nothing in your ears, it's more like having only a partially effective plug in your ear. I could still hear people speaking to me, but they were muffled and harder to hear than normal. Distance sounds were much harder to hear than nearby sounds. On noise reduction mode it worked like a normal earbud and reduced outside noise. These have been the best at phone calls that I have tried lately. They quit making the bcs700 neckband which worked great for phone calls (well, worked okay, which is better than most), so I've been experimenting with all kinds of replacement ideas. These little inside the ear earbuds are comfortable, the volume is great, the caller can hear me over the background noise around me.. which is something 99% of these things fail to achieve. They're small and their case is small, so it's not as inconvenient to take them out and put them in my shirt pocket or their case if I need to talk to someone without my ears plugged. They're tough, I guess, because one of them has hit the concrete twice, the tile once, and they other hit the tile once, and so far after 1 day they haven't shattered. That's going to be a problem though. I can't have them randomly POP-ing out of my ear to go skittering off under cabinets or whatever, especially not on construction sites where I work. They'll end up in wet cement, or down a floor drain, or buried in sawdust or something one of these times. The good: comfortable, lightweight, long-lasting (8 hrs or more), good volume, almost let's you hear ambient noises when set to that function. plus they have a cool app! The best part of the whole thing is that your caller can hear you, even in a noisy work van with tools and equipment rattling. Even with the AC on and blowing at your face. Even on a jobsite where various people are running power tools in the background. That's Fracking amazing. The bad: I never could figure out where the "button" is or what makes it think there has been a press or double press. Somewhere on this little bud is a "button" that does different functions depending on if I press, double press, or long press. I assumed it would be the big flat round piece with the logo on it, but there's nothing that gives you a tactile feedback and the device doesn't always react if I press there. sometimes it does, but sometimes it reacts as if I pressed there when I'm touching only the edge.. so I'm not sure. I'm sure it says in the manual, but I'm sure I can figure this out on my own eventually without having to resort to reading the manual!! I'm not a nerd!!! Another bad thing: They randomly POP out of your ear, especially if you happen to be over tile or concrete. If you carry a flashlight in your tool bag, that can help you spot them if they end up in a floor drain or wedged in the dark recesses of a bottle caps, broken glass, in a sticky black patch of goo that was probably formed from old beer and soda, under the sink at the bar where you are working. These might be more suited to a carpeted environment so they take less impact damage. I kind of wish I had bought some with an ear-hook so that if the bud part popped out at least it wouldn't fall to the ground. I'm going to try these another day or two, try some different eartips and see if I can reduce the POPout.

small case, big difference for my daily commute
i grabbed the Soundcore Space A40 mostly because i was tired of earbuds that felt heavy after an hour and claimed “strong anc” without actually delivering, and these have been a really solid surprise for the price! the case is way smaller than i expected, like it just disappears into the tiny pocket of my backpack that i usually forget exists, which i appreciate more than i thought i would. the noise cancelling isn’t magic, but on the train during rush hour when someone was loudly watching tiktok two seats away (no headphones, of course), it toned things down enough that i didnt have to crank my volume just to hear my podcast. that mattered to me. the sound itself is clean and balanced, bass has weight without turning everything into a thump-fest and vocals don’t get buried. i actually expected it to sound cheaper than it does, especially at this price point. switching to ldac with a few of my favorite tracks made things feel a little fuller, not night-and-day but noticeable if you’re paying attention. battery life has been really dependable too, i’ve gone a few days in a row without charging the case and only realized when i checked out of curiosity. fast charging saved me once when i was already halfway out the door and saw the battery was low, ten minutes later and i was fine. comfort-wise they sit securely without that weird pressurized feeling some anc earbuds give, and i’ve worn them long enough that i forgot they were in which almost never happens for me. if you’re coming from something super high-end you’ll probably notice these arent on that level in terms of pure noise blocking, but i wasn’t expecting that and for what they cost they’re more than fair. i genuinely feel like these were money well spent!

Fit is meh, ANC is OK for price, but Battery Life is Amazing
I've only had these for a week and a half so far, but my first impressions are mostly positive. To preface, I want to admit that I am in the camp of hating that all decent bluetooth earbuds are now the Airpod knockoff "true wireless" form factor. Having to lug a case around is just a pain, and I miss my old necklace earbuds and their convenient neck location of not ever getting lost. You literally can't find the latter anymore, unless you settle for bargain models that sound as good as something you bought at FiveBelow, or dig for old stock on places like eBay. But as far as Airpod knockoffs go, the Space A40s aren't bad. The fit will definitely be make or break for people, and I ended up buying some after-market ear tips to get a better fit, as even the smallest of the numerous included tips felt tight. As for the ANC, it won't blow you away if you've used Airpod Pros or other $200+ earbuds, but for something that doesn't break the bank, these almost completely eliminate white noise, and sufficiently dampen high frequency sounds. Transparency modes are hit or miss, with the Everything-mode actually being pretty close to the "not wearing buds" experience(making it better than ANC off for hearing things), while the Voices-only mode cuts off even moderately low female voices, making it not very useful for hearing people. I'm no audiophile, so I can't tell you how good the quality of music is, but it's definitely good enough for us Average Listeners who don't listen to FLAC files or HD Music streaming services. Max Volume is a bit low, but I made a custom EQ profile to push things a bit further when needed, and that's enough for the rare cases when content is too quiet. Controls are also meh. You have three control patterns to choose from, Single Tap, Double Tap, and Long-press. Long-press works fine for whatever you map to it, but Single and Double Tapping has some conflicts of interest. First off, if you want to change the volume with these, disable Double Tap. Changing the Volume is too tedious unless you can just keep tapping the buds to Up/Down the volume, and you can't do that with Double Tap on. This means that you loose out on most of the other controls though, which is not great. If you don't map the Volume controls though, Single and Double Tap work fine for everything else, like Play/Pause and Next/Prev. Personally, I disabled the volume controls and just reach for my phone's rocker when I need to adjust things. The real selling point for these though, is the battery life! Even when having ANC active most of the time in either full isolation or transparency modes, these lasted me over a week, OUT OF THE BOX. I didn't charge them for the first time until TODAY, after they finally landed on the 1/3 battery indicator yesterday. The case has a huge battery, and even without charging them in the case, the buds easily last for hours on end. So if you can get these to comfortably fit, you could easily fall asleep with them in playing music or an audiobook, and then pop them in the case when you wake-up for a quick top-off before going on with your day. Overall, I'm happy so far. Real test will be when I hop on a plane next week.
