UMI Step Up 110v to 220v Voltage Converter 800W for Europe and Asia 220-240V Appliance Use in US Canada Mexico - Power Transformer

It works well. I used this product for 220V foreign humidifier in the dry season (late fall, winter, and early spring), and it was stable.

Works perfectly and looks much more attractive than other transformers. My UK internet radio and coffee grinder can now be used here in the US. Also small footprint and quiet operation.

It makes a loud humming noise when powered on. I have another 110->220V transformer which is totally silent, so I was surprised how loud this was. It also gets warm when powered on, and I assume that means it's losing energy.

I trust this product so much more than all the others on the market. No sound, power read out is very nice. It automatically shuts down if you over ask. If only they would make a 3000W or higher one, for irons and panini toasters etc.....

I bought a stereo made in Europe and began having intermittent noise issues coming from the amp. The engineers for this company narrowed this problem down to People in contrives useing 110v. They said sometimes if the voltage is unstable it can confuse the auto voltage regulator. They say they have a fix for this and are waiting on a crew to put in a new relay in their current stock and then contact us to swap out our amps. In the meantime he told me if I had a converter that the problem would go away. I ordered the UMI and it solved the noise issue. In fact, I’m so happy with it I may not swap out my amp when the time comes!

Died in 11mo of use at 25% rated power.

Very good Converter but very heavy

I have a small upright freezer we brought from South Africa when we moved to Canada that is rated at about 200 W. This converter works like a charm and being able to monitor the output wattage on the display is a really nice feature. I also have a set of PC speakers hooked up to the second output and everything works fine. As far as I can tell the build quality is good, and it doesn't make any noise or produce that much heat. Very satisfied with this purchase.

It did what's it supposed to. Bought a coffee machine in Europe and this converter did the job. Appearance looks good as well. Blends in with the rest of my appliances

I ordered based on reviews and the design-capabilities basis. I find it to be working well most of the times but it has situations where it stops the TV, the only item connected to the device. Since it works well most of the times I would rate it decent.
