Women's Burnout Velvet Kimono Long Cardigan Cover Up Casual Outfit

I got this to wear over a backless dress as a cover-up over a tattoo (that I love, but wasn't quite what I wanted to show) for a formal event. Since getting it, it's now hard to get me out of it! It's really soft and I like touching it. This fits like a kaftan, but open down the front. I've been wearing it a lot, and I'm not easy on my clothes, but it hasn't snagged or frayed, so I'd call it durable for what it is. I think it's a good "intermediate robe" for night wear--not stiflingly hot, but keeps you from being cold. But it's also perfectly appropriate to wear to anything fancy: Dinner, a play, a garden party. It is see-through around the velvet design, but the pattern was busy enough to do the trick for my needs. I like peacocks and feathers. I'm fond of burnout velvet styles, and this has a lot of muted jewel-tones. It can pair with a lot of options, from gowns to rompers to dress pants.

This kimono is absolutely stunning and very well made for the price. I gave it to a friend for Christmas and she LOVED it! The design and colors are gorgeous. The fit is very easy but still flatters the figure. I'm thinking of buying one for myself! Size fits most. The only down side was that it came shrink wrapped and thus left deep wrinkles in the garment. Hanging in a steaming shower for a bit helps remove most of them. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite of the three Burnout Kimono. It's shorter than the tassled versions, not including the tassels, so that's more ideal for short people like me (I'm 5x 2"). It's lightweight and flowy and keeps the chill off. I think it's fashionable and very comfortable. The colors on the one I got is a hint of purple and red on black, very subtle. Great to pair with a bright colored outfit. This cardigan (kimono) is easily casual or fancy: wear with leggings, jeans, or even a dress! It's so versatile. Quality seems pretty good, though I think $40 is a little much for this; I think $30-35 is a better range for the product. I do understand, however, sellers have to recoup money from selling this here. I'm planning to get another one or two of this style in different colors, because it's such a great layering item and so versatile by way of fashion. The ones with tassels are also pretty (and I get compliments on all of three kimonos), but I have cats, so the tassels can be an issue. 😸 I like the colors, cut, style, and practicality of this fashionable garment. I do machine wash separately, cold water, hang to dry. Picture shown next to tassel version.

I love this Kimono! I was a bit worried about it not being long enough in the sleeves but the length was great. I wore it on New Year’s Eve with a crushed velvet camisole underneath and I got a lot of compliments on it.

Comfortable, fit to size. Wife loves wearing this around over top her tank tops and shirts. Since it is a mesh type it isn't super warm or thick so perfect for the spring-fall months. Washes well just put on delicate so you don't mess up the suede spots.

It IS pretty, however: the quality of the fabric is really low. The “velvet” parts are not really velvet and feel like the cheap velvet on costumes at Spirit Halloween.

Stunning shawl/wrap, arrived faster than expected, looks fantastic great material quality light weight to easy to pack, fabulous colours that will co ordinate with many outfits great to wear as no fringe or beads that could catch, this is value for money
