what is the difference between regular Dasuquin chews and those with MSM?

MSM is an additional joint supplement. Some people even use MSM on it's own. I worked with show horses and race horses for ten years and we used a similar injectable equine version of Dasuquin that goes by a different name as well as an additional MSM supplement as at the time we were unaware of a combination formula. Basically two supplements in one. Hope this helps.

Are people still having problems with them being stuck together and dry?

The same thing happened to me. My initial bag was good, the chews were moist, chewy, not stuck together. The second bag I got in March 2018 were dry, hard, crumbly and a different color. I called customer service and they sent out another bag and I got it the next day. This one was better, but not as good as the first bag. These were clumped together, kind of hard, but at least better than the 2nd bag. I keep them in a lock and lock container. I almost afraid to get another bag and the price has jumped significantly.
