These struts work very nicely on my truck toolbox. They are easy to install and work great. I have needed these for quite sometime, so I have to get used to having them now. I love that now the lid to my box doesn’t come close to hitting the back of the cab anymore as well..

I bought these to replace the worn-out stays on my Sentry Safe, and they’ve made a huge difference. I was worried they might be too stiff or not fit the original mounting points, but they snapped right into place without any hassle. Worked perfectly for my cross the bed Husky tool box. One tip on the ends that slip on the ball studs there is an indent area on the back, push a small screwdriver in the grove just a short distance and hold while pressing the shock onto the stud, pops right on piece of cake. Would definitely buy again.

Only thing i see is the rod end is like plastic .But was the same on my ranger boat lid .Wished rod ends was made of alumium so have better threads that want pull outto easy .For as gas struts nothing wrong with them .Just as good as on boat lid an size.i only had to use the rod end so i have 2 extra .As for now i didn't use the hardware that struts hooked to so extra if need.
