I want a few lamps from black diamond l, great brand, recommended.

Lovely headtorch. Bright and easy to wear, with all the functions you could need. Far simpler and more intuitive than some competitors products.

As always black diamond head torches are the way forward, I prefer the battery ones instead of the rechargeable ones, this head torches is perfect any.

Excellent lighting- very bright light and easy to use and also comfortable to wear.

Waterproof item leaks. Don't allow it to get very wet.

The way the box and advert is written makes it seem like you can recharge this head torch. You cannot. You can just put rechargeable batteries in it which is true for any other headtorch. Would be fine headtorch if it wasn’t pretending to be something it’s not

I remember reading and watching reviews for this where people claimed that the latch that holds the battery case closed breaks. I thought about how people often complain about products not working for them but when I buy and use them, they work just fine for me. This is not like that. The latch is genuinely just weak. It literally snapped in half from being inside my bag. Such a shame because the device really is quite brilliant. But the device is very unusable without the latch because the latch is what keeps the light stuck to the rest of the device and your head. Black Diamond needs to fix this issue ASAP.

夜釣り用にかったが、赤ランプが暗すぎて全く役に立たない。他はよい。

本格的な登山ではなく、キャンプでの暗所作業や移動でしか使いませんが、十分な性能。 COSMO350も持っていて特に不満もなかったのですが、ランタン兼予備ヘッドライト目的でASTRO300とこちらとで迷った末、最後は防水等級が決め手に。 照らす範囲という点ではむしろ350の方が万遍ない印象ながら、50LMの差は大きく、全体的に明るい。また遠くを照らす能力や中心部の明るさに秀でている。よって、ランタン代わりや手元の作業では明るさを落とした350、移動には400という使い分けが自分には快適。 本体はむしろ400の方が軽いためか、ベルトは細いが、若干厚みがある感じで、自分は不安定さは感じないけれど、好みが分かれるかもしれません。 ただ確認していませんが、本体取付部分のベルトの幅は変わらないので、太いベルトが良いという人は交換で対処できるかもしれません。 BD1500が共有できるのも2台持ちの利点で、満足しています。

Works really well and the different light features are very useful. Light weight and easily adjustable. Only missing fixed battery and the possibility to charge directly without removing batteries!

I love this Black Diamond headlamp! It's the best headlamp I've used so far. The highest setting pleasantly surprised me, because the beam is so bright and its radius is nice and wide. The lowest setting was just as good as any of the flashlights I own. While going through the settings, the SOS strobe kicked in and it caught me off guard... it's so effective, I believe it could be seen by the International Space Station. 🤓 I really love the red light feature, it's perfect for telescope stargazing activities. The reason I bought the Dual Fuel technology was for the flexibility of using either the rechargeable BD 1500 Li-ion battery or three standard AAA alkaline batteries. When the electricity goes out, or if I'm backpacking or primitive camping and don't have access to electricity, I can use backup AAA batteries. When electricity is available recharging the battery back is a cheaper and environmentally friendly option. I've only recharged the BD 1500 Li-ion battery once after several hours of use, and it recharged pretty fast. Now that I see how great this brand headlamp is, I'll probably be getting the 500R as well. I just wish you could replace/swap out the Li-ion battery back on the 500R. I would definitely recommend this Brand headlamp to a friend.
