I'd rather it not be brass, but it is well made with precise threads, and it is sized perfectly for my application (I turned a bulk feeder trough into a bathtub for my lettuce troughs). All is well.

this product is exactly what i needed but is not 3/4" straight thread. the total OD is just over 1" and is similar to the 1" GHT spec without being a GHT profile. otherwise the product is cleanly machined and works well.

I use these as a bulkhead fitting to move water from outside to the inside of my metal workshop. They do the job, but.... They are corroding on the outside a bit with a nasty status of liberty green. They are also a pain in the ass to screw in your male NPT adapters and fittings as there is nothing to grab to when rotating the adapter to stop this bulkhead fitting from spinning. They don't have a large hex shape or anything flat on the flange where you can get a wrench on it, the flange is completely round. I had to stick the round flange in a bench vice, tighten the hell out of it (including scratching the flange quite a bit) to be able to get enough torque to get he NPT fittings into it without a leak.
