They were to small

The size we bought runs on the longer size for age 11, which is ok because my son is on the shorter size for his age and can grow into them. We bought these for BSA use. The material is thinner, which works well for warmer events in scouts. The belt is a one size fits all, which is ok (son is on the skinnier side as well), but you'll end up with a lot of length leftover as the size of the belt is far to long for the size of the waist on the pants. I would recommend going a size down if you notice your child to be on the shorter size of his age group though. The zip off legs to convert to shorts is a wonderful feature.

The pants were 23.99 and sounded great. Got them, only to find out they were mde too small in the hips and upper legs, even though they were said to be roomy for moving around and hiking, etc. They were the size he wore, 14, but would not work so I tried to send them back. Had to wait for a reply from the company that makes them, finally I get a letter saying how about they give me and I keep the Pants. I wrote back and said that needs to be more realistic We can't use the pants. Never heard another word from them. Next time I will make sure Amazon is the one I can deal with, not a 3rd. Party somewhere else. amazon is great for returns if it is from them.

Ordered a size 16 boys. Size in pants says XL, way way too small and very little flexibility in the waist. Can't wear.
