I ordered all gold. Somehow I have a mixed packet. All the right sizes so I guess that's OK. They all work.

These 1 1/2" slide buckles look just like the picture and description. The size is exactly 1 1/2", which is what I needed for my projects. I make messenger bags that convert into regular shoulder-bags, and these slides are perfect to make the adjustments for that. They seem to be a good quality and weight for my use.

This size is hard to find in the retail stores so I ordered online. They are perfect for the project.

These were perfect for the purses my adult kiddo made and sold at the farmers market. For the most part, they were sturdy and had a beautiful antique brass finish. Unfortunately, one of them was defective: it wasn't just bent open; the metal was too short on one side. This was an obvious defect that could have been caught with better quality control. So you may want to buy extra if you're making a project.

I only needed 4 but totally worth it. My sandals inexplicably used elastic bands as strap keepers. Didn't work well at all. These look good with my dark straps on two different sandals. Works great.

Wonderful and will order again

I use these to make adjustable straps for bags that I make. I pair them with the one inch wide cotton strapping, and they work perfectly. I like this assortment because it has the different colors to match the other hardware I am using. It took me a while to get the hang of how to install them correctly. I found a good tutorial online that I followed step by step until I could finally do it without help. Basically the steps are (1) sew the slider to one end of the strap (2) loop your connector onto the strap (3) then feed the strap back through the slider (4) sew the other connector to the remaining end of the strap. I use the one inch swivel hooks so that I can change the strap on a bag if I want to, but you can use a plain old O ring or D ring. I make a lot of bags that I sell in my eBay store, Cosmic Cheetah, and the adjustable straps make them either a crossbody to a shoulder bag.

Nice quality triglide slider for my purse straps. Have purchased before and will purchase again.

They are quite skinny. I was expecting something about 0.5cm thick and these are narrower than that. It means I am not confident using them on a large bag becasue I dont know if they will carry the weight. They work well as an adjustbale buckle but I have that nagging doubt about load.
