L800-D Identi-Plugs, 35 mm - 45 mm Openings (Pack of 100)

These held up perfectly after being pressure cooked at 15psi for 40 minutes. I see absolutely no reason they could not be sterilized by pressure cooking for 90 minutes @ 16 psi in aluminum foil packets with milultiple folds to seal against steam infiltration. If wanted, you can add 1 teaspoon of distilled water into the packet to steam sterilize and then open and dry in front of a true HEPA flow hood filter. I would highly recommend although I am still not sure about the micron filtration rate. Given it is open cell for gas exchange, and the cells will force the gas to take many twists and turns (not under pressure), any contaminates should get caught within the first few turns within a fraction of an inch when entering the foam. I am confident these will work for my sterile mycology lab work. I would highly recommend.
