My 7 year old daughter loves these quick knit kits from Creativity for Kids. The instructional videos on YouTube are a must watch to understand how to do them. This one is especially nice with the included loom because it doesn’t take as long as the pocket scarf version with knitting needles. Makes an excellent gift!

I got my 8 year old started, and then she spent hours over the next few days working on it. She loved it. It was easy to learn. The yarn was very soft. The finished product was okay. A longer, normal scarf would be more versatile.
