Works as it should and bolts right up to my 2015 Winnebago Vista. Just a suggestion, check where the gears are when you take it apart, I had to take my back down to allow enough slack to bolt the arm back into place for steps (I initially reinstalled it with the gears fully extended, I needed to back them off a few sprockets for a proper fit).

The motor was a perfect, simple, bolt on replacement for the 1820124 motor on my Kwikee 25 series steps manufactured in 2014. No modifications necessary. I was tempted to try one of the much cheaper knock off 1820124 motors, but they look nothing like the original, the wiring is obviously different, and upon reading the reviews, a lot of people have had issues with making them work even after attempting the needed modifications. This motor is manufactured by AMI, the OEM supplier to Lippert/Kwikee. It is the exact same motor you would receive if you ordered direct from Kwikee. I think the reason you are able to purchase this outside of Kwikee is because I believe the same motor is used in many different applications by various manufacturers, and is not a proprietary component exclusive to Kwikee steps.

The motor/gear assembly fit in the Kwikee steps on my 2018 Tiffin Allegro RED. I did have to remove the gear and install the the gear off of the old assembly. The provided gear is too small and does not have the alignment shaft going through it. Very easy install after the gear replacement - 3 bolts and the electrical connector and good to go. There are many assemblies that are a third of the price of this one, but I prefer to not have to replace this thing any time soon.

Perfect replacement for existing motor and working properly after installation. Retaining ring holding gear which came with new motor was difficult to remove and not necessary for original gear assembly. Tempted to buy cheaper models but hopefully this was worth the premium price as it was described as the OEM replacement.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This was a replacement for the motor on the steps on my 2015 Jayco Redhawk. Took me ten minutes to install. Perfect match on an OEM part. It was worth spending the extra money.

Do not waste your time on any other motor. They say that it will replace the 369506 motor but it will not work on the series 25. I wish I would have bought this one the first time. I received the motor and installed it within 30 minutes and op checked the steps. Works like a champ! The oem replacement step motor had the wrong pinion gear on it. I had to use the pinion gear from my old motor
