Wirenest Buell ECM Programming Cable * Rugged Version *

I have now purchased two of these and both worked great and are long enough to route cable to my laptop in my backpack while riding.

The Harness works perfectly to connect to the bike (Ulysses XB12X). Of course the bike it twitchy and the software is glitch-y, but with patience and repeat boot ups I have cleared codes and found my issue. I can recommend this Jumper Harness.

USB end of wire was very flimsy internally and connection cut out from time to time while using tuning software. This can be fatal to an ECM leaving it bricked, so this is a MAJOR quality issue. BuellTooth is far more reliable and user friendly.

Worked great for me. Cable is as described. ECMspy is no longer operational so it's a pain to get the software to use this cable. I tried tunerpro and they never sent a activation code to me even though I donated money. The cable is great but the tuning software sucks and it is individual's that are doing the software and not company's so there is basically no support.

Supports the latest EcmSpy version and the drivers work for Windows 10 as advertised. Was able to diagnose the settings and adjust the tune on my 2000 Buell X1 Lightning no problem. There are some limitations in terms of being able to run the live diagnostics feed and apply settings at the same time, but it's an old ECM and a plain old serial connection so I'm not surprised, the product itself works as advertised. One of the other reviewers mentioned the tight connection and I agree, I think the molding on the connector is a little too large where the rubber seal is. This is really easily fixed by just taking the rubber seal off the connector, and then it slides right in and comes out no problem. It's not like I'm going to plug this in and tune in pouring rain, so that's not really an issue, but a minor design flaw for sure since it is technically supposed to be a Deutsch connector. Lastly, the wires coming out of the connector and to the USB end are tiny. You shouldn't have a good reason to yank on the cable, but my bike was running a little rough and moving around a bit so I had to make sure there was enough slack on the cable at all times. Considering that the USB cable itself is pretty thick, it would have been good to see thicker wires coming out of the connector. All that being said, it gets the job done and I'm very pleased. You may have to try out all the different connection options if you're not sure what specific type of ECM you have. Mine was labeled as a "Race" ECM but selecting that option would not connect. I had to pick the "Stock" option in EcmSpy. It can be a little finicky on some attempts to connect, make sure all of your cables are seated fully.

Works fine for Buell XB12S 2004 using ecmspy on windows.. Made with good material , I'm satisfied.

This is a nice high quality cable. It works with ECM spy and connects to my XB Buells.

Very useful for diagnosis of Buell bikes. Can write and read codes, ECM programming.

Works perfectly, lead is a good length, plug is well made and is a good fit into the diagnostic socket on the Buell, highly recommend.
