Gave me Diarrhea
I will start off by saying that the taste was good and the makhana was crunchy for quite a few days, but I noticed a very strange thing. I ate a handful of makhana on the day of delivery and the next day I had acute diarrhea. Initially it did not strike me what caused my condition as I have been eating homemade food for the past week. The condition lasted 1.5 days and I took Eldoper which did not help before finally taking Imodium. After a few days, I randomly ate few makhana again and lo behold, I get diarrhea the next day!!! This confirmed my doubts and I had to throw away the box which was still 80% full. Luckily, none of my other family members ate it.
