Things to know about this
This is a cheap copy of the expensive CRKT provoke morphing karambit knife. It comes without any directions and is EXTREMELY STIFF to use. The good thing is that with a little work it's easy to fix but if you expect it to work like it should right out of box you will be dissapointed and should pass. The fix: You'll need a star bit, ( I didn't have one that fit perfectly buy found one in my tools that was close enough to work ) & some penatrating oil. Just loosen the screws a little on the knife, liberally apply the oil to the screws & hinges. Work the action & let it sit overnight. Wipe it down & everything will work like it should. The skinny bar below the ring is a lock & you to press down on that to be able to close the knife. This style of knife is designed to be opened tip down blade out. If you put your index finger in the ring and flick your thumb down on the top hinge the blade snaps right open. It's tricky to close the knife with one hand, but it's possible. The lock feels solid and knife comes razor sharp. This style knife was designed to be used tip down blade out, but if you hold up like a normal knife the downswept claw blade looks odd but actually perfect for opening boxes, like next knife you got coming from Amazon. My conclusions: It's an interesting cool novelty, but nothing especially amazing. I'm not willing to spend the $$ on rhe original that can go over 200$ ( 80-225$ on Amazon ) but 12$ & a little effort get a functional knockoff works for me.

Love It!
I bought 3 of these. One was too hard to open and when I tried to loosen it it became too loose and wouldn't tighten again which was sad and why I got 3 and not just 2. The first one was tight and loosened just fine and the last one was fine after just opening and closing a few times. Sometimes they don't open fully but that could just be my weak grip strength. However I really love this knife plus it's super fun to fidget with! Plus the fact that other knives like it are ridiculously expensive and this knife is so inexpensive what's not to love. I keep one in my purse and one by my TV. It's pretty, a conversation starter, cheap, fun to fidget, and you can protect yourself with it, what's not to love, how can anyone who likes knives not want one! Also as someone with grip strength issues I love a knife with a finger hole/hold!

Not bad, but not a tool.
The Outdoor Mini Camping Stainless Handle Survival Knife, particularly the new claw knife in silver, presents itself as a multifunctional tool with a variety of features suited for casual outdoor enthusiasts. Its compact size and stainless steel handle make it an appealing option for camping trips or light-duty tasks. On the plus side, the knife is lightweight and easy to carry, fitting comfortably into pockets or camping gear. The folding design is practical, allowing for safe storage when not in use. It does offer some useful features that can come in handy during outdoor activities. However, it's important to note that this knife doesn't seem built for heavy-duty use. After some initial use, it unfortunately fell apart and required reassembly, which raises concerns about its overall durability and reliability. While it serves well for minor tasks, it’s clear that this knife is not intended for serious survival situations or intensive outdoor work. Ultimately, this knife may appeal to adults who enjoy collecting or using knives as a hobby, but it should be regarded more as a novelty item than a serious tool. If you’re looking for something functional and robust, it may be worth considering alternatives that are designed for more demanding tasks. Overall, it’s a decent product for light use but falls short of being a reliable survival knife.

Great for fishing and camping along with other uses
This Ismosm mini survival knife packs a surprising punch for its size. The karambit styled blade is sharp and well machined, making it ideal for quick cuts, peeling, or light-duty tasks around camp. Despite its compact footprint, the knife feels sturdy in hand thanks to the stainless handle and ergonomic grip. It’s easy to open and fold, and the locking mechanism feels secure without being too stiff. The high carbon steel blade holds its edge well and resists wear, even after repeated use. Whether used for camping, fishing, or everyday carry, it performs reliably and fits comfortably in a pocket or small pouch. The folding design makes it safe to store and transport, and the overall build quality is better than expected for the price. It’s also a great conversation piece. The unique claw shape adds a tactical flair without being over the top. For anyone looking for a compact, functional, and affordable EDC knife, this one delivers solid value and dependable performance in a sleek package.

Screws are garbage and sent unreasonably tight
Sadly garbage. First thing I did like others had suggested was to loosen the torx screws but sadly they are made out of some of the weakest metal I've ever seen and are tightened down to an unreasonable level so they immediately began to strip. I stopped the second I noticed when one wouldn't budge and soaked it all night In CLP. This helped the action some but after thoroughly cleaning and drying I tried the screws again and they just kept stripping. Really disappointed I didn't get one of the elusive "good ones"

This fits in my jean’s coin pocket better. Can’t beat the price.
It’s all metal. There are three screws that I thought would be an issue around the ring hole but they are not contacted in use. There are no hot spots and it feels good in the palm while folded. The edge is a chisel so it’s only sharpened on one side which actually works well in a retained position. Out of the box it was sharp enough to use but I gave it a full polish. I thought it might be hard to sharpen due to the concave blade but it’s easy. I photographed it with my diamond sharpening files and my jig just to show I do know how to do edges. I bought a Provoke 4041b also and put in the photo for size comparison. The finger holes are about the same size unlike the compact Provoke. For the people that say it’s tight, a few drops of RemOil and a few minutes of working with it made it very good, of course not as nice as the more expensive model but actually quieter. I didn’t have to loosen anything. The lock release is far superior to the $100-$200 morphing karambits. Really a win if you actually use it. It does not have or need a retention clip, I just put it in my coin pocket with only the ring exposed. It will not freak anyone out and it’s ready to go with nothing to snag and no brandishing since it’s in a palm. Riding high, it does not slip out but at this price I would not lose any sleep over losing it.

Not quite there! **follow up**
Unfortunately it's not even close to the original. The mechanism does not work as it's supposed to! It's extremely hard & way to tight that it won't open as it should. Even after trying to loose up some overtightened screws. It won't work. Nice try but it needs a lot of work not only that but it has no lock & it's hard to close you need 2 hands to open & close. Good materials though everything is metal. *After having reviewed this product the company reached out to make everything right. I have to admit they have excellent customer service!! They really care about their customers. Which nowadays is extremely rare & for this very reason & their rapid response I will continue to do business with this company. I completely recommend shopping with them as they will make sure you get what you want or need when conducting business with them. Thank you for the positive experience I had with your team.
