Worked okay on mosaic
Used it to do a large job of mixed mosaic tiles. It cut through most with no issue but started to burn on some of the glass pieces later in the job. It was fully wetted during the cut.

Good blade for tile work.
I have been cutting a lot of tile with this blade. Keeps cutting great and has stayed true.

Definitely comparable to more expensive blades
We remodeled two large baths and our utility room in 2013 using this blade with our Ridgid wet saw. We are now in the process of remodeling two baths in our neighbor's home with the original Black Widow blade we purchased. Have cut granite tile, granite slab pieces, natural river rock, and ceramic tile in these remodels. Blade is still working great. The Black Widow blade has held up well and cuts as well or better than more expensive blades we have used over the years. Smooth cuts, minimal chipping. Very pleased with this blade, especially considering the price point.

Great blade!
Amature tile setter here. I have bought a few of the Hotdog blades in the past and liked them, but they were really subject to drift if you didn't set the height of the blade to just to the top of the sled. This Black Widow seems more forgiving and really performs well. Only thing I notice different with this is that it wants to pull a lot harder with thicker material like slate, so either need to put the blade lower in the sled trough or hold on with both hands on the sled so it does not pull. Not sure how long it will last as i don't have any big jobs to do any longer, but I will buy another one of these once this one is finished.

Ok for limited cuts
Works fine for 20 cuts. Recommend a thicker blade, starts to wobble some.

Bought this saw to cut porcelain tiles for a kitchen back splash. Porcelain tiles are much harder to cut than ceramic. Using a sliding compound chop saw (not really meant for cutting tiles) the diamond blade did an excellent job taking extra precautions with masking tape & cutting slowly with the tile 'face up'. Quality of the cut was little to no chipping! Cutting was done 'dry' & outside. Initially a 'light' pass to cut or scribe across the glazed face & continue across & down to complete the cut. For small cut outs ( elect. outlets) I used a grinder & 4" continuous rim diamond blade. I won't be able to say how well this saw will perform over time but for now it saved me $ by not renting.

Good blade. I don’t find that it cuts that much faster than any integer blade. It cuts clean and doesn’t flake off parts of the tile. I cut up 18 sqft of tile into 3x3 pieces and it’s still going strong.
