Great product! Long pieces of hay and so far I have not realized any hay dust excess that need to be sifted.

When I received the hay in the mail, I was surprised and pleased with the size of the box. For $19.99, I couldn't believe the amount in it. Peanut (my guinea pig) absolutely loves the hay. I use his hammock to hold the hay and he will burrow himself in it and fall asleep after eating. This product is worth so much more than the cost.

Horrible for pets that you care about. If your animals are raised for meat than it’s perfect, but if your pets are like your kids, this product isn’t the best for them to eat, especially not rabbits. I have had financial problems and haven’t been able to afford to get the normal 1st or 2nd cut Timothy I usually like to feed my bun, so I switched to this one. I immediately notice the dust and dryness as soon as I opened the box. Not fresh at all. Then I took a handful and a big dead dried dragonfly fell out of my hand. I was mortified. Dragonflies are like my thing after loosing my grandfather. But to find a dead bug was enough for me to realize my baby deserved better. I will have to figure something out to get her something better. I’ll cut corners somewhere else. I can understand using this for bedding or litter boxes, but please don’t feed this to your pets.

Edit 12-19-2025 Last 2 orders dusty and very short strands, average strand was about 3 inches! Sad for my bunnie! One order was 13 lbs in an 8 lb box but even though over weight it was unusable garbage! Got my money back to order again. 2nd order is still short strands ( maybe 5 inches) but not as much dust , still over weight by 2 pounds (2 unusable pounds!) The good boxes have strands that are on average 12 inches or longer!. This seems to happen each winter. Small pets need long strands for their teeth and over all health, dust is super bad for their eyes and respiratory health. This is the REASON I switched to Small Pet Select, the other brands were dusty short strand garbage. EDIT! 01-2024 I am subscribed for this hay and while it is the best out there the last 2 deliveries were much more dusty. Not good for our bunny. I started buying pet select because the other hays are so short and mostly junk hay. This brand is a clear winner and I hope it is just because this is the last of the winter stores of hay! This is the best! it is our first order but it is soooo much better than the other brands! The other brands have become cut so small and full of dust that it should not be considered hay. We have a bunny and the dust from the other brands affected his health. This is sweet smelling, green and long strands with seed heads. It is an enormous amount for the money! Bunny LOVES this hay and so do we. Thank you for providing this!!

I have bought this brand before, I’m just buying a smaller box as my previous (larger) rabbit passed and I have a smaller rabbit now. I don’t use it nearly as fast. The hay is great. It ALWAYS smells fresh and looks green. I have NEVER had a problem with musty or brown hay! Don’t just take my word for it though, the proof is in the rabbit! All three of my bunnies have loved this brand of hay. Yes, it is a bit pricier than the popular mass produced pet store brands. But, considering the quality and freshness, it’s worth it. Less wasted chaff and odd bits as well.

The box is filled with basically nothing but dirt. My Rabbit will barely eat it. Nothing but brown soft hay. This is not always the case. This is about the third box I have ordered with this problem.

Green stemmed 2nd cut hay. Cant tell the difference between the value and non value. Piggies love it

I have used this product in the passed and have always loved the high standard and high grade of hay. My Guinea pigs loved it that much they barely left any. Now for the last 2 boxes I've bought they have been full of durt which is dangerous as Guinea pigs to inhale. I apologise for leaving this review but I cannot buy your hay in this condition.
