Seemed to work great until it didn’t. I put it in an aircraft with direct airflow for cooling. Checking reviews for failures and none found. I expect these cheap ECU to fail so no failure reviews is suspect. The BEC failed simultaneously is a design problem.

I bought this just to try out a Castle Creations 6400K motor in my Traxxis Slash and it worked quite well. Only used it while on black top, and couldn't keep traction due to the amount of torque that the motor put out. That's specifically due to this ESC allowing the motor to draw the amperage it needed, so I give it a big thumbs up. Probably works even better in a boat with the water cooling!

I have 4 of these escs .Some I put caps on which you can buy at Offshore electric rc. When I run them I run a water pick up with a spliter I ha 2 inlets and 2 outlets these esc like to be kept cool. Then run another pick up to your motor.if you run your line to esc then to motor or vise versa you will pre heat the water for the next object your trying to cool so I think its better to run separate water lines and pickups. Also if you are interested there is a place called Stump Fabrication Rc that makes a upgrade for the cooling plate which will make this esc little smaller in width and have better water cooling for 25-40$. Under the right set up you can get a boat to go faster than 80mph with 2 of these escs and with some good batteries like chnls. The video above is a 45in cat going 84mph.I have alot of higher end escs but these things are awesome for budget builds.You may also want to check out Offshore electric for some odds and ends and hobby grade boats and parts,never know you may see something you may like that Amazon doesn't have.

What an awesome esc for the money! Fits in multiple boats and provides exceptional power. I also gained a few more miles per hour on the top end compared to the stock ESC that originally came in my boat. Moving forward, this will be my go to ESC

Ordered two o e got here before the other and was on the same tracking number . Seems legit though . Haven't used them yet . Kinda bulky for a boat that requires these so we shall see what happens . Other wise yeah I don't see why not to buy it again . It's just a water cooled speed controller.

put this esc in my boat on 6s with4274 2000kv motor , lasted about 20seconds and caught on fire and becuase i couldnt get it it also cooked my two brand new cnhl 3s 5000mha batteries thats 200 bucks in the lake down the drain
