Nicama RL1 Camera Tripod Adapter Plate for Camera Harness

If you're using the Cotton Carrier system, this is the plate to pickup if you also want the ability to use an Arca Swiss tripod head. Super high build quality and fits perfect on the bottom of my 200-600 lens foot. I love being able to use my Cotton Carrier and then drop the lens into a tripod while I'm out without having to swap anything and not spending a ton of money.

Era justo lo que necesitaba: Tengo un lente Sigma 150-600 mm y el arnés de Nicama para su transporte y tenerlo a mano. Pero cuando necesitaba usar la cámara en el trípode, me tocaba quitar el adaptador para el arnés e instalar el soporte para el trípode. La placa adaptadora viene pensada para instalar en un trípode con sistema Arca Swiss, por lo que no es necesario instalar la base del trípode. Únicamente la placa adaptadora y sobre esta el arnés y listo! Igualmente dispone otro punto para un tornillo en caso de que el trípode no sea de sistema arca swiss

Amazon really needs a "0" or even "-1" star. This product is worse than useless--it doesn't the same mfr's camera vest that it is supposed to complement. A waste of time and money. Don't buy it--or any other Nicama product.

Took off one star as it came with two screws, one longer than the other. It was trial and error as to which screw to use and what holes to use. Otherwise, this is a great addition to the Nicama harness. Just wish there was a link from the harness directly to this item, as it is a must have.

I have a Cotton Carrier and really like it, but I do like to use my Tripod too sometimes. This CC adapter works, but is a bit short, as many have noted. Interestingly enough, there is an alternative (the Nicama RL1 Camera Tripod Adapter - B09YDL7FLX). If you look at the photos I attached, you can see how much longer the Nicama adapter plate is over the CC plate. The CC round hub attaches just perfectly to the Nicama and it all functions perfectly. I would recommend the Nicama over the CC adapter plate. My only qualm about the Nicama is that it's just a bit thicker than it needs to be. As for weight, the CC is 69.3g with the gasket and 58.1 without it. The Nicama is 91.2g, so it does add more weight. Loses a star for being thicker and heavier than it needs to be.

Use it on my sigma 150-600 Canon set on a K&F carbon fiber tripod/monopod, works perfectly along with matching harness. Strong, secure, I'd buy another one without a second thought. Love it.

Needs to be longer, simply put the camera sitting on top of my tripod is not centered properly two things that would improve that would one if the square tab was longer sorry rectangle tab and two if the screw that holds, the camera was to have a sliding slot much like most travel plates then it would be better. Another problem of this company is that it just took too long to get it to me. I think the quality is there just these to work on the design. the weight is not a factor. It seems to be a little difficult to get it on and off the tripod again that’s because it is not long enough. I would make the grooves deeper so as to make it easier to put on and with one side of the groove a lot deeper so that you can pop it on still I’ll be using it. Thanks for making it.

Au lieu d'alterner entre trépied et rondelle pour harnais, je ne vois pas comment me passer de cette plaque adaptatrice!!!!

Buenas placa, realiza su función correctamente aunque el precio es bastante elevado.

Plaque permettant d'utiliser le harnais Nicama et mon trepied Zomei sans avoir à fixer soit la plaque de trépied ou le bague du harnais. La plaque est de bonne facture, robuste. Indispensable donc si vous utilisez le harnais et un trepied. J'ai retiré une étoile en raison du prix qui me parrait excessif, aussi cher que le harnais complet, mais bon, pas de d'équivalent sur le marché.
