Improve Your Harbor Freight Fluxcore!
Love the new convenience of making my Harbor Freight flux welder more sturdy and traditional in replacing parts now that I've added this more professional gun to it. You can wire it to your HF fluxcore welder with the included wiring you need for the smaller home powered HF fluxcore welder. Not hard at all! Wayy better action than the cheap gun that came with the welder (That I've destroyed with such heavy duty use), but hay Harbor Freight allowed us to purchase a good little welder at an affordable price!

Fits my flux core Chicago electric 125 and also my Extreme power us mig 130
I was trying for the longest time to find a gun for my flux core Chicago electric( harbor freight) flux 125 and also my Extreme Power US mig 130 but I couldn't find any kind of info to lead me to a definite answer or someone just telling me that this would work for a gasless flux core welder. For those who are looking like I was and not getting a straight answer Yes! This gun actually works for both of these units like a champ. I just had to cut a solder the main power wire and the 2 wires that go to the switch and wamo! Got myself a new gun that is better than the ones that came with both of these flux core welders. It doesn't matter that there is a gas line. You can either cut it and take it out or do what I did and tie wire it out of the way inside the welder just so it wouldnt get it the way of anything and it works great! The added 1 1/2 feet on the gun sure comes in handy and like I said this gun works perfectly on both of my welders. I would imagine that this gun will work on any flux core welder that has the horizontal wire feed like most of these do that has 2 wires running to the switch. I'm glad I took a chance on this because I was getting tired of not having a welder especially when I have 2 and all they needed was the gun. I don't know why either of these manufactures actually sell a replacement gun or have some literature on what is compatible but they don't. Anyway hopefully this will help someone that is having the same problem that I was in trying to find a replacement for their flux core welder. Great quality for a great price!

Good deal for the price.
Works GREAT! I have a UNO MIG nice upgrade from the original one that came with the welder. Dislike: it wasn't as long as advertised

Great improvement for plastic lined torch on older DuoMig Chicago electric welder 1980's
I have rebuilt/ converted to DC an older Duo Mig welder and decided to replace the original torch with this newer 8ft cable wound liner flexible torch. The original torch mounting block had to be machined slightly to make room for the power cable, gas tube and trigger wire, and tape around the cable wound liner to get a good grip in the torch block. The trigger wire is a simple on -off switch in the handle and the gas valve is plastic but has a great seal and is very responsive to on-off with no leakdown after trigger release. It will hold my operating pressure from regulator of 50psi .My old torch had an internal switch for the wire feed motor and was driven off power from the transformer lead to the torch. I simply connected one trigger wire to the torch lead positive post and spliced the other to the old wire that feeds the wire feed motor circuit. Works great. I can change polarity if necessary for Flux core DCEN and would just switch trigger feed wire to the respective post to keep rotational direction constant. Works great, nice quality, flexible smooth feeding great improvement to my system. I am working on a separate power source for the wire feed motor and that should smooth things out even more. The only other modification to get it to fit was lengthen the gas hose to reach the back of the welder unit. I spliced it with a small roll pin to a polyurethane 3/16 in tube bought at an auto parts store and sealed the mating seam with silicone. If you are looking for a great upgrade to a Harbor freight Wire feed welder and are reasonably handy, this is the best torch for the money. The newer Plug In single fitting torches cannot be modified to fit the older welders that have separate cables, trigger wires and gas tubes. This is the one you need for the older type welders.

Not a direct replacement
This is not a direct replacement for the Harbor Freight Chicago Electric welder. However if you are willing to cut, splice and solder it works fine.

Works on Blue Point mig welder
Works like the original. The difference is that this one has 2 trigger wires and mine only had 1. What I did was put one wire on the original terminal and the other connected with the power cable that comes out of the hose. And this made it work. Not much info on this but hopefully it helps someone who wants to fix their own. Also the gas hose is 4mm so you might need an adapter for the regulator if it’s too small.
