My old Macbook Pro 13 inch battery no longer functioned and had swelled in the case, causing a bulge under the keyboard and trackpad. This replacement battery was fairly easy to install and now my old Macbook works great with Linux. The retina screen of the 2013 macbook pro still holds up well.

Battery works well, was relatively easy to replace on my model (A1502), and came with the tools i needed to do the repair. The only thing that could make products like these easier is if the came with information/resources to help properly dispose of the battery. Can’t find anywhere in town to get rid of it but can’t stand the thought of throwing it in the trash - but that’s not even the products’ fault. Overall solid quality replacement and reasonably priced.

Kit came with everything but nail polish remover to remove the adhesive on the prior battery. Installation was pretty straightforward following the iFixit instructions. Main reason for 1-star reduction was the age of the replacement battery and relative battery life after replacing: Age of MFG for the replacement battery was in 2015 (similar age as the original battery being replaced), but cycle count was low and charge exceeded the specs (102% battery health according to Coconut Battery). After replacing, was expecting to get close to ~7+ hours battery, but was only able to average ~4-5 hours.

Good value..exact specs as oem battery..comes with all necessary tools....hopofully it will perform as specified.

They shipped a bad battery. After replacing other components (right input board) to chase the issue, it was determined that this was indeed a failed, bad battery. By that time we missed the return window by 8 days. So now, not only did we waste 60 bucks on this brick, but also lost money on unnecessary parts and repairs. I let the repair shop dispose of this no-quality battery. Turns out it was an expensive mistake to order this brand.

Le kit de démontage pour la batterie usagée est très appréciable et la notice explicatrice bien documentée. Les performances de la batterie sont un tout petit peu supérieures à celles annoncées. C'est parfait !

El kit viene muy completo y la batería encaja perfectamente. Instalada sin ningún problema y funcionando al instante. 40 minutos llevó la operación, tomándolo con mucha calma Respecto a la duración, el tiempo dirá. Nueva vida para el Pro por un 25% del coste de un servicio técnico. La foto corresponde al estado de la batería remplazada (algo hinchadas y con capacidad de carga totalmente agotada).

Akku kam wie bestellt an. Enthalten waren neben dem Akku auch eine detaillierte Step-by-Step Anleitung, das benötigte Werkzeug sowie andere Materialien. Einbau war problemlos möglich und das MacBook Pro (A1502) funktionierte problemlos. Der Akku war zu 50% vorgeladen beim Einbau. Bisher konnte ich keine schlechtere Performance, als mit dem Originalakku feststellen (schauen wir mal wie es noch einigen Monaten der Nutzung aussieht).

I bought this battery to replace the malfunctioning one in my MBP mid 2014. The bundle contains the battery, the required screwdrivers and toolset, and a detailed manual for replacement, indicating which screws to remove and in what order. The battery replacement for my MBP model was very smooth thanks to the instructions. The battery is fully functional, and so far I haven't had any issues whatsoever (of course, I replaced it just a week ago, so too soon to say if the battery will be durable).
