Casio hits the spot yet again.👍
G-Shocks are something of a "Marmite" thing in the watch enthusiast community, but like them or loathe them, their place(s) in many collections is(are) justified in my view, so excuse me if this review appears somewhat subjective. That said, if I have moans about an item, they will be listed along with the good points. Onwards... The good bits: This watch is yellow, very yellow! It's also nowhere near as fat as some older G-Shocks and wears very well for a watch whose case size ought to look like a dinner plate on my tiny wrist. Yet it fits every bit as well thanks to the many adjustment holes in its (yellow) two piece strap. The wrist in the attached images has a circumference of a mere 5⅛ inches yet, thanks to the strap heading downwards from the case - a common thing among larger Gs made even more versatile here by the strap's use of quick release spring bars, though a general purpose aftermarket strap would need to be approximately 14mm wide and would lack the visual flow of the factory's stepped strap design, which flares out to match the attachment points on the watch case. Given how much adjustment is available here, even a thick wristed man could find this just as comfortable as I, a skinny wristed woman, do. The buckle appears at first glance to be the plastic type found on some more budget oriented Casios, but no, it is made from a nicely finished - no sharp edges here - piece of stainless steel. Then we come to what it does: This watch has the Bluetooth facility so that the time can be synchronised with your smartphone, tablet, etc. I find this to be more useful for making settings adjustments as the paired device will have a much larger display than the G's digital area, bottom right of the dial. I deliberately avoided letting the watch connect to my phone for two weeks after the initial pairing and setup. Unsurprisingly, the watch remained accurate as most of the range will when left to their own regulation of the time displayed. OK, so I admit that I like most G-Shocks though for me, the resin case is a large part of the appeal and a factor in the brand's legendary resistance to damage, but if the buyer were thinking of modifying their G's appearance by fitting one of the many "upgrade" kits available these days, I would tread carefully and perhaps read my review of how such a mod went when I bought a kit. Best advice; if you must have some metal attached to a light watch whose feel and balance on wrist is a result of its synthetic construction materials, buy one of the Gs that come from the factory with metal cases and straps. Those won't give you a nasty rash, are made beautifully and tend not to feel top heavy. I get the appeal of modifying a watch, but was glad to refit the original plastics to my GA-B2100 after my own less than worthwhile decision to mod the watch. All that experience taught me is that the G-Shock is just right as its maker provided and if I feel the need for a heavy metal experience again, I shall satisfy this urge by listening to a classic AC-DC album at full volume. So what's not so good about the GA-B2100? Sorry folks, but I did say at the start that I may become subjective and OK, so some of us will spend ages looking for some glitch or other, but there really isn't anything that disappoints me about this watch. Sorry there's nothing to report, but buying a watch from the 2100 range is very unlikely to be something you'd regret. I chose the solar one with Bluetooth, and it was on offer at the time, but even at around the typical maximum £160 or so, I would have been just as happy with my purchase. End.😁 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

G Shock quality. Very light and looks fantastic also no more messing around with batteries.
Visually this watch is eye-catching in this colour. It looks superb and is of the usual high quality you would expect of the G Shock brand. Extremely easy to set up and auto updates (if selected to on app) via Bluetooth with your phone so keeping absolute correct time. Also this watch is solar powered so no more messing around with batteries. This is a bonus as you don't have to worry about seals being compromised if you swim wearing the watch which is 20bar rated. Highly recommend.

Buy this watch!
What a great watch. Perfect for everyday use, no matter if you’re in the office or climbing a mountain. The connection to the app makes setting time and other settings a breeze, and the colour really pops. On top of that, priced extremely reasonably, especially if you can find it on sale. Cannot recommend enough, Casio have outdone themselves yet again.

Great - Tough & Lightweight
I sync it daily through the App and is very easy to connect on iPhone 13 mini, looks great and easy to read (the main dial). Stays at full power on the window sill when not in use. This is medium size by GSHOCK standards but still large and relatively thin. Fantastic in yellow, it is a bright yellow !

Buy for the look, durability and accuracy.
I wear this a lot because I like the look of it. It's also easy to read the time in this colour scheme, with white hands on a black dial. I like the way the minute hand moves in 20 second increments (once every 20 seconds, fortunately). It's deadly accurate of course and also syncs with a phone via Harald Bluetooth using the Casio app. and you can switch the hands to show time elsewhere in the world. However - it is not easy to read e.g. seconds and date, which are small and often obscured by the hands. The legend for the cute yellow indicator needle is also almost impossible to read in normal light and without a magnifier. I know that the bottom 3 positions are for High, Medium and Low power reserve (descending) and with that knowledge I can see the battery state of charge which is really all I need from day to day. It's a G-Shock. It's practical. Sort of. It has a few neat features but I need to look at the manual if I want to use them. Intuitive, it isn't. Be prepared to enjoy it for what it is. You will be able to tell the time without asking a policeman.

Love this watch
Outstanding watch. Connecting to the Casio watch app is a doddle and you can set your watch up from there, rather than fiddling about with the buttons on the watch. The time sync through Bluetooth works flawlessly, although syncing 4 time a day is a bit overkill,so I turn my Bluetooth on just before 12.30 am,so it can time sync once, like my multiband 6 g shock does. Just buy one,you won't be sorry

Didn't work at all
I was a bit worried when I first saw the box was a bit tatty. It looked as if it had been in storage quite a while so I guessed that the battery would be completely discharged. Indeed, the indicator showed it was completely dead. There was no reaction from the watch at all. After several hours in bright sunshine the indicator hadn't moved . The watch was still totally unresponsive. Had to return it.
