Durable, two pack!
5.0 out of 5 stars Toughest Little Pilates Ball Ever – Survives BeachBody Workouts AND a Destructive Toddler! I bought this 9-inch soft Pilates ball specifically for Autumn Calabrese’s BeachBody “9 Week Control Freak” program (if you know, you know those inner-thigh squeezes and core moves with the ball are no joke). This little guy has been a total champ. - Holds air perfectly; I inflated it once three months ago and it’s still rock-solid even after daily squeezes, bridges, and hundreds of reps. - The surface is soft but grippy, so it never slips out from between my knees or under my lower back during hundred curls. - Perfect size; not too big, not too small. It gives just the right amount of resistance without feeling like I’m fighting a basketball. Now for the real durability test… my 2-year-old discovered it. He thinks it’s the greatest toy on earth. He throws it, sits on it, kicks it across the hardwood floor, uses it as a “drum,” and even bites it (yes, actual teeth marks). I fully expected it to pop within a week. Three months later? Still going strong. No leaks, no dents, barely even scuffed. I’m genuinely impressed. Bonus: It comes with a straw for easy inflating (no pump needed) and a plug that actually stays put. When I’m done working out I just toss it in the corner and let the toddler go to town; guilt-free. If you’re doing 9 Week Control Freak, Morning Meltdown 100, or any program that uses a small Pilates ball, this one is a no-brainer. Affordable, effective, and apparently toddler-proof. Already ordered a second one so I have a “workout only” ball and a “toddler destruction” ball. 10/10 recommend! 💪🏼😂

The trick to blowing it up
I ordered this small Goonidy ball for PT exercises, just the right size for knee squeezes. I like the metallic finish and slight texture for easy grip. BUT blowing it up isn't easy. Here's the scoop: First remove the air hole plug--no tool included to help wiggle it out so you might need a small flat screwdriver, metal nail file, or tweezers. Working the plug up from below the hole might also work. Next, insert the straw into the air hole but only as far as needed. Blow up the ball until it's full. Before removing the straw and keeping your mouth over it, place your finger right next to the air hole. Quickly pull the straw out and instantly cover the hole with your finger. Then work the end of the plug into the hole, keeping your finger over as much of the hole as possible until the plug takes up all the space. Press the plug all the way down into the hole. You'll probably still lose air--which can be fine for some exercises, but a challenge if you want a full and taut ball. YMMV and it may take some practice. Goonidy answered my cry for help with these tricks. Also similar to TriDeer seller video instructions. I'd pay more for a small ball with an air hole and stopper like most pool inflatables--is that so difficult?

Good, does what I need it to. Hasn't popped or broken yet.

Needs a valve
The ball is great and the price even better. My biggest problem is it needs to have a valve in it so when I take the straw out of it it doesn't deflate. It doesn't stay inflated well.

Perfect size for therapy exercises
Great little therapy ball.

Good ball but difficult to get the plug in after filling. Allows a lot of air to escape
Sturdy and works well to support the back and facilitate a number of Pilates exercises. Good to have as part of any equipment collection for home use.
