S802 16 in 1 Multitool Phantom Updated Version Multi Tool Pliers and scissors with Replaceable Knife and Wire Cutte (S802S)

I love this tool so much. I'm a life long leatherman fan boy but I lost my super tool 300 a few months ago and I wanted to try something new. I tried the Sog power lock but the pliers snapped tightening a square bolt after 3 days. I got to watching YouTube videos and saw this. The pliers are great and I love that they're spring loaded. Wire cutters work great and love that they come with replacements. The scissors are as awesome as advertised. The smaller implements work great and the button to lift them out is such a great idea. The additional hex bits are cool but they fall off the Phillips head if you don't hold it on but work in a pinch. The knife that comes with it is really nice. The saw blade I'm sure works fine but I don't really need that. The only downfall i have with this tool is it doesn't come with a file. I found that you can get replacements for the knife blade so I bought the file (which is an amazing file and diamond file) then I used my grinder to flatten it out and made a regular knife blade out of it. So all in all I think it's my favorite multi tool yet. I HIGHLY recommend this. Side note, it is a very large multitool but it surprisingly fit in my 5th pocket.

The Roxon Phantom is interesting in it's design and concept. It appears to be a leatherman knock-off at first glance the Roxon actually has two very interesting things going for it. One is the replaceable main knife blade. It comes with a large, quality, and very sharp-out-of-the-box, tanto-style main blade, but the main blade has two switches that allow you to pop-the side of the tool off and replace the blade with a handful of other blade shapes and types. Roxon even sells a metal comb or hook tool to replace the blade completely. The second thing it has going for it is one of the best pairs of portable scissors I've used. That's including Victorinox scissors. They are huge and sharp. This of course means this tool is probably bigger and probably heavier than some Leatherman tools, but it comes with a little belt carry case. The other great things this has going is all the side tools are also locking, which is great for the screwdriver that also has a magnetic attachment to use other included bits for it. It also has a nice little scraper/prybar on the end of the bottle opener that also benefits from the locks. The one downside I would say I have found is the included saw is absolutely not sharp at all. I can run my finger along it with decent pressure and it just feels rounded over in a way that would never cut me. I think a bit of sharpening with an angle file may fix this, but when the one I compare it to is Victorinox saws, it really is lacking. I almost wish both sides of this tool were hot-swappable like the blade side is. I would love instead to have a nice file in the tool. I can always swap the blade out for a large flat file, but then I'm still left with a sub-par saw. If you want to carry around a solid pliers-based multitool and also don't mind the bit of extra bulk to get a huge pair of scissors, definitely check this out. It will probably live in my shop for now and I'll always have what I need handy for most tasks. Despite the saw, I'm giving this 5 stars because for the cost this thing has way more tricks up its sleeve than people may give it credit for.

purchased for $49.99. the tool so far is solid, the mechanism that controls the blade switch is well constructed. the only minor gripes i have are 1. the scissors are kind of "sticky" and after some light use, they dont spring open as easily. BUT the scissors themselves are solid, and one of the best I've come across in a multi tool. 2. the holder it comes in is very bulky, and the snap closure started ripping after only a few days (see my photo). so eventually, probably soon, the snap button is going to rip off. If the case is no big deal to you, the tool is excellent so far. and a nice budget price point.

I love this multi-tool. I bought it for the swappable blades, and the full size shears. I love it for so much more. The included bit kit is very useful. The hard case it comes with is awesome quality (way better than those supplied with new Leathermans). The scissors are great. The blade comes extremely sharp out of the box. Swapping system works great. I have since fallen in love with this companies products, and bought 2 more of them (the knife, knife with scissors). Great quality tools that don't seem flimsy. Feels good in the hand. It's fairly heavy, but for good reason. Pliers work great, and the cutters do too. Edit: After more time with this tool, I still love it! I recently purchased one of the blade sets, and I gotta say, the serrated straight edge blade is awesome for the multi tool! Super easily one handable, scary sharp out of the box, and works great for pretty much any use. Fits great, looks great, and works great. I also put the spear in the knife, which is great too.

Where do I start? Easy to open and use the size is nice. build nice the functionality of it and the design is perfect i carry one every day with me kinda heavy for the pocket but it, comes with a belt holder it's the best multitool I have come across and when you open it there's no cutting your self if you need to use the pliers for man stuff iv had this tool for about 2 years and I use it every day and it's still going strong

I really love this tool and the blade swapping system in ingenious. I'm tempted to give it only 4/5 stars only because Roxon messed up the companion knife, Roxon S502U Phantasy (upgraded from the S502) because it's no longer a single-hand operated knife. However, I have no real complaints about the S802 Phantom. It's just a really nice multi tool, especially for the relatively low price. The scissors are superb and I also really like the included tanto blade. The pliers are also excellent. I really like that they put a snap instead of velcro on the nylon case. Overall a top notch tool. I just wish Roxon hadn't messed up the companion knife. They would've made a great pair/set!

Tutto sommato si tratta di un buon attrezzo. La finitura satinata è buona anche se da un feeling inusuale a chi è abituato all'aspetto dell'acciaio lucido. La pinza è OK, chiude e stringe bene anche se ha le punte appena un po' corte. Il sistema di cambio lama è OK, blocca bene la lama una volta chiuse le sicure. Attenzione all'apertura perchè c'è una lamina elastica che tiene la lama in pressione. Le lame (ho acquistato anche il kit aggiuntivo) sono ottime e ben affilate. Le forbici sono il miglior attrezzo presente. Ho dovuto stringere la vite lato apribottiglie/aprilattine/giravite scoprendo che stringendola troppo gli stessi si bloccano e non si aprono. Ho dovuto dunque regolare e bloccare la vite con frenafiletti per avere la giusta pressione su questi attrezzi. Non mi piace la custodia perchè troppo voluminosa e non può ospitare le lame di ricambio... se non posso portare le lame di ricambio come sfrutto il vantaggio di averle? Altro punto dolente è l'utensile porta punte, ha molto gioco lato attrezzo (lato punte OK) e da l'impressione di essere debole. Buono ma da migliorare.

Good that it is cheap Grip-wise, this tool is slightly similar to those high end ones - but it can be improved. Lil bit wonky but it’ll do. All in all, it’s a good buy

First multi-tool I bought as an adult. Very functional, quite heavy so feels sturdy and strong. A good set of tools to use as an EDC. Haven't tried the replacement knife function but that's one of the reasons I bought this multi-tool and other more expensive multi-tools seem to lack this so useful for me.
