Bought the Hardcover. As you can see the edges are slightly damaged from the careless packaging from the seller. There was just the outer brown amazon cover packet and nothing protecting the book. Print quality is average, but for this price of below 700, this is worth it.

When I first looked at this book I was a little doubtful whether I would be able to read it as it has over 1000 pages. When I started reading it the language felt old and too descriptive, but it all started making sense 20 pages later. reading LOTR has been an experience of a lifetime. The book lasted for three weeks and I was unable to do anything else during those. Thankfuly, I haven't seen the movies and thus the story wasn't spoiled for me in any way. I now agree why fantasy lovers call LOTR the best work in the genre. The characters such as Gandalf and Aragorn are simply outstading. The sense of thrill when Frodo makes the journey to Rivendel and later when the company passes through the Mines of Morea is an experience to cherish. True adventure in every sense. This book is not heavy on magic like Harry Potter or Inkredia, but the depth in terms of story and characters is fantastic. The descriptions that seem heavy in the beginning become so enjoyable that you don't want to put the book down. This is truly the best work in Fantasy genre and it will be difficult to find anything else that would match it.

the cover has an amazing texture and has a vintage vibe. love it. although it took 2 weeks to arrive but the wait was worthwhile.

A bad binding done but I saw many good reviews and font is small. The covers are pretty good, you might wanna buy.
