I am very pleased with this soldering iron ; it heats up very quickly and works really well with adjustable temp control and is available at a bargain price with some basic accessories but do yourself a favour and get some decent solder wire It makes me realise how basic my previous iron was with no temp control and it is already in the recycle bin!

For the price, it’s an excellent product. Heats up very fast and feels comfortable in use. For £12 you’re getting a bargain.

Useful soldering tool - easy to use

Great value and good temperature control. It's fast to warm up and cool down, works great.

Buttons did not function when plugged in. Found that the mains cable slides in-out of the soldering iron that I received. Had to pull it outwards so the display aligned with the window then the buttons were aligned too. Now held 'out' with a tie wrap. Works really well!

This is great for if you need to make a few quick connections. Good as a quick travel soldering iron. Any more demanding and get your station out. The temperature control seems to work fine. Feels quite normal in use, perfectly fine on that aspect. It solders well. You get different tips and a microscopic stand with minuscule sponge. Stand and sponge are good for the few soldering but not for long use, just like the iron. Not sure if it is exactly 90W though, but powerful enough for almost all moderate electronic work. I don’t want to use it for 1.5mm copper wires or similar, unless you crank it up to max which then blackens your tip to single use. The tip doesn’t have the thermal mass to do thick things. So this could be either great if it matches your expectations or terrible if you really need heavy duty or use it long term. Kind of common sense is to buy stuff for your needs.
