These steps are a life saver!
Our 85lb dog tore her ACL last summer so we use these steps now to help her in and out of our SUV and boy are these steps a lifesaver! Just unfold and prop them up out the back hatch or side door. She took to these steps in no time. They fold up nicely and fit right in the back or behind the seat. Just as described, theses stairs are light weight but very sturdy and easy for me to unfold even with only one hand free. Works with the side doors too but doesn't fit exactly (at least in our Ford Explorer and Ford F150) and may scratch or rub against the inside of your car. We put some duct tape on the points that were rubbing and seemed to help with that issue. Also, the artificial grass is very soft and easy on the dog feets! Would highly recommend these stairs!

Works great for my older Golden Retriever
We used a ramp with our crossover SUV but we purchased a mid size SUV and the ramp was just too steep for the new car. Also both our Goldens were afraid to go up the ramp on the old car plus the ramp was really heavy and cumbersome. These steps are lightweight but very stable and easy to handle. They work great for our SUV and both of our Goldens went up and down the stairs with no problem as long as there were a few treats to encourage them. Our senior Golden weights 82 lbs and the stairs handled his weight with no problem. Bs an

Total game changer!
After several attempts with other stairs and ramps, this was our last hope for our middle-aged German Shepherd who needs to get into the back of our new SUV at least five days a week. It took a bit of encouragement since he’s a nervous guy who is a creature of habit, but he was up and down these without hesitation within two weeks. They are even sturdy enough for me to place my own body weight on, which helped him learn how to use them. The carabiner definitely helps stabilize, and I do recommend using it during the initial training, but recently I’ve also able to get away with not using it and just holding on to a top bar while he goes up/down for a quicker overall process. It likely varies per person/dog/car, so don’t bank on not using it. In any case, so happy with this purchase!

Faux grass dog stairs
I really liked the price, concept and the ease of it folding and being so compact! It’s seems sturdy if your dog is probably a large breed dog. I have a 90lb lab. I don’t know if his eyesight and the grass are hard to gauge? The aluminum frame I could see bending at some point. The bottom part of the frame jets out just past the bottom step, so it was a little awkward, maybe so you can stand on it so it doesn’t slide? Well anyway I tried a few times and my dog is just super scared to go up it, I tried everything! Hahah I would recommend cause it’s really a great tool to implement early! And the faux stairs are with a heavy duty cardboard with reinforced edges and actually decent fake grass. I would give it 5 stars if my dog would have used it! 😉

FINALLY Steps that Work!
These are great! I have bought several sets of steps trying to find one that my 100#, 8 year old lab felt comfortable on and will use. He went right up & down! These are wide & sturdy. They lay perfect on my Yukon and aren’t steep. They are lightweight & super easy to open/close. He was having such a hard time jumping in the back because of his joints, but now he loads right up & we head to daycare! Thank you!

Not what I was hoping for
I just bought a new truck, and it sits pretty high. I also have a 160 lb. Saint Barnard that I need to get in and out of it. It wasn’t too bad for my smaller truck with me lifting him up but with the new big truck I was hoping these stairs would be just the right thing. First issue was I couldn’t figure out a way to get the steps to be level and also be stable next to the truck. The 2nd issue was the steps were too wide and only one of the handle ends would be on the seat. The other was hanging over the side of the seat to it was way too unstable. The more I shrank us the steps the closer the frame of the steps were to the body of my door at which point I didn’t want to risk scratching the door jam. Now if I allowed my dogs to ride in the bed of the truck then these steps would be perfect. I have a full size crew cab truck so I don’t think it’s the size of the vehicle type issue. Not sure how I’m going to get my saint in the truck but it can’t be with these steps.

Great stairs!
These stairs are great! I waited 4 months to write the review to make sure it held up. It’s super light weight but also really sturdy. The steps fold up and extend easily. My dog is 98 lbs with bad hips and he does well going up and down the steps. The astroturf on them is a nice touch. Highly recommend.

Not as advertised
I was hoping to get my 150 lb dog into the back of my SUV. It wasn't sturdy and it scared my dog. It was difficult to fold and I had to watch out not to get any digits in the folding or unfolding.

I initially thought these would be perfect for the SUV's my friends have, but have since found they are also great for getting dogs on the grooming table! No more lifting up and down, and no more worry about dog health if they jump down. With large breed puppies - Dobermans and Giant Schnauzers - we have to be so careful not to allow them to jump off anything taller than their shoulder until over a year old. This was easy to train, even for the 10 and 11-yr old dogs. I had a ramp which we all hated, too big to store, too heavy. A much longer training time working from low to high. My dogs all know the commands 'upstairs' and 'downstairs' so it was a snap. Thanks to whomever thought these up, it's a game changer for certain. I've now bought 4 setsfor myself and my friends, and know i'll be getting more.

My dog actually uses these steps and he wouldn’t use a ramp. Perfect hight, light weight, easy to fold. The grass is a nice addition. I would buy again.

My dog is 11 and this works great to get him in and out of the vehicle with his older age and bad hips! Would definitely recommend!

I love these steps. My senior Bernese Mountain Dog took to using them quite easily, with some treats to get him started. They are certainly sturdy enough for a 100 pound dog, and I think the extra width on them makes him feel more secure using them. I like the grass covering, as it does not seem to be slippery and he was not too hesitant to try them out even the first time. Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend. I can't speak to the longevity of the steps, however fingers crossed that we still have our old boy in a year or so and that the steps continue to work as they do now.
